Bose is the best for a reason.
I love these head phones! If you have ever paid good money for a good pair of headphones then you can tell a huge difference. I got a pair in Bose ear buds Xmas 5 years ago and can't and want use anything else and the only reason I got another pair was for it to work with my phone for calls wasn't a feature until now or I would of stayed with the same pair because they haven't dropped in quality and still work and look the same as the day I got them. The only thing that can happen is the little rubber inner ear cover can come off but not easily but it happens if you are as hard on them and taken them everywhere as I do. The nice thing is each set comes with 2 extra sets of the inner ear rubber ear bud covers with different sizes for your ear bud not to mention the amazing fit they provide without ever causing the discomfort other inner ears buds can cause if warn for a while. Even if you lose you back ups you can buy some more for $2 online. I just bought the SIE2i sport headphones and the only difference from what the traditional ones called the IE2 audio headphones are that they always offered is the microphone that now comes with MIE2i mobile headset that allows it to double as a headset for your cell phone calls. I have an iphone and it will ring though when I am listening to music and allow me the option to answer or decline my calls by clicking the volume buttons on the back of the little mic part. You also notice within your 1st use not only the sound difference but when on a call you can hear clearer and be heard better than you can by using your phone by itself. SO WHY DID I NEED THESE IF I HAD THE MIE2i regular ones well I unfortunately had my car broken in to the other day and they where stolen so when I went to order a new pair cause couldn't barley get though the two days it took my new pair to come in without them so I immediately went an ordered another pair that day when I came across the new sport ones offerend in this same type of earbud designed headphones. I just purchased these and love them even more but its really same product just more geared to sustain though sweat and other obstacles that are caused from using them while working out. Here are the differences........... The sports ones only come in your choice of bright green or bright orange mixed with grey color so they are a little more noticeable then the black and white traditional Bose cords. But if you get the sports ones with them mic (they also offer the sports ones without the mic equivalent to regular iE2 buds just are supposedly more durable to sweat, constant wear as well as water. I never had a problem with any of the my Bose headphones messing up from that though used same ones for 5 years the iE2 ones just didn't heave the new mic and phone technology so I decided to get a paired that could be compatible with my phone makes taking a call so much easier that taking out headphones to have to answer a call before while I was listening to my music. BUT YOU DO GET AN ADDED BONUS with the sports ones they come with a cool cord extender so you can add length to them which is a handy tool that the regular IE2 doesn't come with as well as the arm band for an iPOD but FYI does not work for iPhone the cord hole is on the opposite side than that of a iphone so can't use it for your iphone just an ipod because of the headphone pluggin hole is on the opposite side no way make it work unless your phone was turned around but it would then prevent you to be able to see or touch the screen. Well I hoped that the review help you decide try these out because you have no idead how different they are compared to the everyday ones topically used today by every like the factory ones apple supplies with there phones and or ipods. BTW I never write reviews I always read them but I felt I had to review these because they are awesome and well worth the amount money for what you get back in return almost a steal. SO IT"S A GREAT BUY for you or as a gift but if you don't get them you are really depriving yourself of pure luxury, comfort, above and beyond quality sound and convince that you will get with this purchase the second you put them on!!!!ALSO - if you want to try to find a better price most likely want when comes to Bose they are awesome so they don't have to comedown on there prices so you will find across the board the cost you pay for anything with the quality and reputation of Bose you will most likely realize quickly come to realize trying to find a better price isn't really option because they are more than likely gong to run you pretty much same price stand across the board. WELL HAPPY LISTENING!!!-JHadwin

Quick Review and Summary of Product
***Summary***Allow me to start off by saying that overall, I believe this is one of the best headsets on the market. While I may not be a true audiophile, I do spend a great deal of time everyday listening to music (probably 8-10 hours a day) and care very much about the quality of my headset. As such, I decided to order this set on Amazon to see if they are worth the hype.Comfort - 9/10To me, comfort is the most important aspect of a headset, ranking even higher than sound quality. Even a headset with superb quality can be a major disappointment if it is uncomfortable to wear and/or keeps falling out of your ears *cough* Klipsch S4i *cough* and in this respect I am happy to report the Bose MIE2i are among the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. I was a little apprehensive when I first put them in, as I was unsure if they were situated properly or not, but after several minutes of use I was amazed at how great they feel. Rather than trying to jam these into your ears like many other types of headphones, they simply rest just inside your outer ear, projecting sound towards your ear canal. They feel like they're floating in place, thanks in so small part to the lightweight design.Sound quality - 8/10Now on to sound quality. Because it is such a subjective topic, it's hard to say definitively whether once headset sounds better than another. However, rest assured the sound quality coming out of this set of cans is excellent. Not the best I've ever heard - I'd still argue the Klipsch S4's sound better - but these still sound fantastic. Mids and highs come through nice and clear and there's just enough bass to keep things balanced. Overall sound clarity is superb.Durability - 7/10While the actual earpieces and ear inserts appear well-made and rugged, the cable leaves something to be desired. It's a little thinner than I would have expected from a headset in this price range and I could see it splitting and flaking off down the road with heavy use. The included travel case should help keep these safe outside the house, but I would have rather had a solid plastic or metal case rather than the cloth binder-like case that's included.Value - 5/10Here's where we come to the major downside to these headphones - the bang for your buck. Now, I think it's safe to say we all know Bose products are overpriced. That's just a fact of life. You're paying for the brand, but unlike the vastly inferior Beats by Dre headphones Bose customers have to come to expect great quality products. While these headphones are certainly a high quality set, I believe they fall short of their $130 (or $99 if you decide to go with the version without a microphone) price tag. $75 - $80 would seem like a much more reasonable price for this set, especially considering what the competition is offering. Conclusion - Four StarsTo sum things up, I have to dock a star from this headset due to the high price tag and questionable build quality of the cable. Otherwise, this is a fantastic headset with excellent sound quality and one of the most comfortable designs I've ever tried. If you're a fan of Bose products or very picky about your headphones, I would definitely give these a try. Otherwise, I would only purchase these if you can find them for under a $100.
