I have been very happy with this purchase. It works great. It is very quiet. And it was a great price compared to what the mattress stores were quoting. It came quickly. The box is very heavy, so it was nice to have it delivered right to our door. My husband and I drug it inside and then unpacked it in order to move it piece by piece upstairs to the location where it was going to be set up. A couple of the bolts were hard to find to unscrew the parts during the unpacking process, but not so hard that we couldn’t do it. The set up was straightforward and easy to do. I did it by myself and it took about 30 to 45 minutes. Just follow the step-by-step instructions and you will be just fine. It fits perfectly inside my padded bed frame and sits on the floor independently of the bed frame and holds the mattress. The remote control is easy to use and you can find a comfortable position that you enjoy.

The bed frame came very well packed in cardboard packaging. The package was heavy, so you'll need two people to move it around easily. Alternatively, you can open the package and move the contents in parts, which is what I did to move it to my upstairs bedroom in three trips. The bed frame is very well made and super sturdy. The package contains everything you need to put the bed base together and working. Please make sure to follow the assembly instructions precisely. The instructions are clear (pictorially) and all components are well marked but you will need to pay attention to details. Once assembled you will need a compatible mattress (any memory foam or gel mattress without spring or coils should do fine). I have a 14 inch super-heavy firm memory/gel mattress on and it works well. One thing I noticed was that base boards are 1 cm or so smaller than the mattress on all sides and I think that is great as it should allow you to put a bed frame and headboard if someone wanted to, I am certainly going to try it to get some more vanity into the bedroom. I have been using it for sometime now, it works exactly as one would hope, no flex, quiet (you can still hear it), very stable, super sturdy and last very-very comfortable. The remote it comes with is easy to pair and use and the pre-programmed positions are comfortable but it should be able to be adjust to your own needs. One last thing, it uses an Okin controller which can be paired with LED lights, USB charging ports and Voice Control module, you will need to buy them separately. I have not bought them as I don't really need them but I did the research to explore the art of possible. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.

Absolutely what I needed. It performs exactly as it should. Very comfortable and takes pain away at night as I'm still trying to work before I get a hip replacement. Putting it together was fairly easy but it was super heavy and need two people to assemble if you have any strength or weight issues. Definitely worth it tho! I couldn't be happier!

This thing is the biggest pain to put together maybe, ever? It comes bolted together, you have to take it apart with shoddy tools they give you, then reassemble it. The quality is fine, it does what it says, but damn. Frustrating to build and honestly for that reason alone i cant recommend it.

First Impressions This is my first adjustable bed frame. Before ordering it I wasn't sure what to expect. Looking at many of the different bed frames they appeared to use flimsy metal and could possibly not be sturdy. However, even before opening the box, I was pretty confident this one would be okay. The package was about 70 lb and it was solid. The item was very well packaged. There was some foam to protect the corners, heavy duty zip ties to prevent things from shifting, and even bolts attached specifically for shipping. This thing wasn't going to move anywhere. Installation Putting this thing together was pretty simple. The instructions were unexpectedly very well put together. I was able to assemble it in about 35 minutes by myself. It was packaged with additional nuts, bolts, and washers in case you happened to misplace any. Using the Base I have a solid wood platform bed that is about 10 in off the ground. My bed would sit in this platform. The thing I noticed after this was put together was that the adjustable base was about 6 in higher than where my bed was normally situated. Because of this the bed it looked like it was floating above my existing bed frame. I took off the legs of the frame and stuck on some non scuff adhesive pads across the bottom. This dropped the height by about 4 to 5 inches. Now the bed still floats a little bit but I think I could get around this. Perhaps with a skirt or maybe put some feet on my bed frame. I'm okay with this. Regarding the adjustability its movement is slow and steady. It takes about 25 seconds for the head and the legs to adjust to their fully extended position. That seemed really slow at first. However, with three small children I see this as a positive as it's less likely that they're going to get hurt from this thing moving and them getting caught or stuck or something like that. I have a really heavy memory foam mattress that this is able to deadly move up and down without any issues. Again, this bed frame is still very solid and is actually more stable than the wooden planks that my bed sat on before. One unexpected bonus of this frame being super sturdy is that now I can leverage the space below as storage area; something I wasn't able to do before. Items for improvement The main gripe I have is that the back pivots up about 3 ft in from the end of the mattress. This puts me 3 ft closer to my TV from where I was before. I used to use a wedge and had a comfortable distance between my position and the TV. I'm not sure if this is a feature on other bases (which may be more expensive) but it would be awesome if the base could also slide back about at least foot while in a raised position so that it has a more balanced position in the room. Now for under $350 I wouldn't expect that of this product. The other gripe I have is in regards to the height. I wish it was a bit more adjustable at least 2 in shorter and maybe even stackable feet to accommodate for taller bed frames. Third, a nice to have is if the remote had a button that could fully extend the head or the legs without having to hold the button down for the whole time. Overall, I think this was a great purchase. The cost is great. The fit within my existing bed frame was good. It is extremely sturdy. I'm glad to have made the purchase.

I recently wanted an affordable way to enjoy an adjustable bed. Most of the models I saw in stores were around $1000 and already assembled, which I did not need. While doing research I came across the Mixcous King Size Adjustable Bed Base which was about a third of the cost but required assembly. Since I have always enjoyed putting things together, I decided to order it. When the bed base arrived it was very well packed, and I realized unpacking actually took longer than assembly. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and having a drill with a few bits made the process go quickly. Once assembled, my new 14 inch memory foam mattress fit perfectly on top of the king base, and I did not need to install the optional grab bar. The control unit has an extra input for a LED light, and the frame is solid steel with sturdy screws and premium motors. Overall my experience was excellent. The bed base operates quietly, allows easy adjustment of both head and foot positions, and feels very durable. Considering the cost and the value, this is a fantastic option for anyone looking to upgrade to an adjustable bed without spending a fortune.

So, I decided to give this less cost item a go before splurging on a name brand system. Pros: it’s cheap and does what it says and wasn’t too hard to put together. Delivered to my door quickly. Cons: 1. sturdy when flat, but does flex and move when it is anything but flat, so you will feel your partner if they toss and turn, even with a Temperpedic mattress. This will not happen with a name brand frame. I know because my parents have one and it’s rock solid no matter what incline it’s in. 2. Cross support boards are wood so time will tell if they will hold up 3. Zero gravity setting is hit or miss(like others have noted). Sometimes it does it correctly and other times I’m glad the motor can only go so far so your not folded in half. 3. Seller was hard to reach. I wanted a second/extra remote. After many hoops I was finally informed they do not have them to offer. Well, that’s concerning, especially if anything breaks or god forbid you loose your remote. You will be out of luck unless you buy a protection plan. I’d hate to have to replace the while thing for a simple part breaking.

WELL package with everything screw down and zip tie. Took about 1 hour and 30 minutes alone to put together. Motor is every strong and fast was a little bit suspicious about buying it but it works better than expected and fast delivery to Canada. HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUYING!!!
