Women's Wave Creation 19 Running Shoe

I've been running on Mizuno Wave Creations for over 15 years, and Loved them until the 19. It is extremely narrow across the instep, and wide at the heel. Previous models fit well in a size 8, even though I do have a wide foot and narrow heel. Sad to say I'm parting ways with this shoe as it was great shoe for me. I did find a nice replacement in the Mizuno Wave Horizon shoe, so if you're not happy with the Wave Creation check out the Wave Horizon2.

After wearing this style of shoe for years, they've gone and screwed them up in the 19 series. I liked these shoes because the toe box was wide enough that I didn't get blisters on my big toe...now that they've changed them, the toe box is more narrow and after just one 15 mile run, I had a blister! BOOOOOO Mizuno! I want my 18's back!

I love the wave runner prophecy 3 shoe by mizuno. wore them for 4 years straight while working in the hospital until past the time I should bc/ they were ripped but I could not find anything comparable to the 3's. I have spent so much money trying to find the right shoe but I cannot find something that works for me being on my feet all day. These unfortunately did not work for me. My feet, legs, back were all tired. My feet were strained so bad from wearing these. Im still on the hunt for perfect work shoe since they do not make wave prophecy 3's anymore and I cannot find them ANYWHERE. I have tried pretty much every brand, work shoe, tenny's I can think of. I have asked other work professionals as well and am unable to find something that works for me.

I’ve been wearing Wave Creations since 2007. This is the worst iteration. I read the reviews and ordered a size up. Normally wear a 9 for running shoes but got a 9.5. My left toe still bumps the front of the toe box. And on top of that, randomly, since running in these shoes, now my knees are messed up! Do yourself a favor. Take a pass on these!

I was worried about the reviews about the toebox being small and wasn't sure if I should size up. I wear an 8 in non-athletic shoes, and went with my typical half size bigger for running shoes, and it is perfect! I have average width feet and the toe box is fine for me. The support and stability make them comfortable to wear for long periods of time with no pain. I'm considering buying another pair in a different color. Great shoe!

Well made running shoe. However, did not fit the shape of my foot. In order to get shoe to fit my wide toe box, had to get larger size which created heel slippage. Been a Mizuno wave creation user for over 12 years, but unfortunately will have to pick a different shoe.I have missed to deadline for return. Shoes have never been worn with tags still on, sitting in box. Any chance that I could return for store/merchandise credit. No way to contact seller so this was my only option. Please!

I have worn the Mizuno Wave Creation since I believe it was the 6 in 2004. Every year I have replaced with the newer model. I feel like the quality is going down, while the price is going up and up. These are not as comfortable as my last model. There seems to be way less arch support. And the tongue is sewed down in a way that it actually makes the top of me feet sore where it rubs. I actually went out and bought a pair of another brand of shoes to alternate with this pair to save my feet. They are decent enough for me to keep and alternate, but not even slightly worth the cost. And I don't think they will last past 6 months even only being worn half the time.

Update: 11-29-20I still have the same issue. They still rub in the same spot. I would not buy these again.I bought these before Christmas. I tried them on and they felt snug and the shoelaces were way too short so I couldn’t even loosen up the shoe all of the way. Always thought I’d get new shoelaces to loosen them up and put the shoes aside. Christmas came and went and I kind of forgot about getting shoelaces. Kept trying the shoes on in the house and they were still snug. Thinking I should return them because they didn’t fit correctly, I missed the return window. So, I finally got new shoelaces and could lose them them up better. But there still something wrong with how they designed the shoe. Where they have the outside Mizuno logo, hits my bone funny and it just seems like it’s too tight and keeps rubbing. The toebox seems a lot smaller than past shoes too. I took a picture of where the logo hits the outside of my bone weird.

I love these sneakers. They fit nice and are very comfortable.

Ok but I found the soles were harder then they should be. Stull wearing though and comfortable just a little tappy :)
