Yes it would work under a dress as long as the dress is longer than the bottom of the leg portion.

I wore it for a whole day.I can tell you that it didn't.The bones snatch my stomach well without rolling down.

Q: How can i choose the right size？

I chose the size that I chose because I have a lot of extra skin on my stomach from losing weight and I have a large bottom my pants size is 14 so I chose an extra large because even though I want it to have the slimming effect I want to be comfortable while wearing it.
