Unlike most reviewers who are using this for caregiving of someone in a different room, I am a caregiver for my wife who sleeps right next to me. She has Alzheimer's and is not very stable when walking. She broke her arm recently while getting up in the middle of the night and now needs assistance with pretty much everything. Though I asked her to wake me if she got up while I was sleeping, she frequently forgot and was always attempting to do so on her own, which led to further falls. I never knew things like this existed but am so very thankful that I found this product. I just put the volume to vibrate and set it on my nightstand and every time my wife attempts to sit up, it goes off and wakes me so I can assist her. The only times I ever get a "false" alarm is within the first 10 minutes of putting my wife to bed and she moves/adjusts. I have never had a false alarm after that. So worth the money.

It is super easy to set up. Extremely reliable and is working as expected. It can be set to vibrate or sound an alarm--either way it is very easy to hear and / or detect. It has been working flawlessly for us and has saved us from another fall several times over. I would recommend to anyone that has issues with a wandering senior (due to dementia) or for a family member that needs assistance to get out of bed safely but will not call their caregiver.

Having this alarm system has been so helpful in monitoring my mother who has dementia. I sleep more peacefully knowing that any time she gets up, during the night, the alarm goes off. I have it on low sound & vibrate and it still wakes me up. It helps during the day as well since I also have the chair alarm. No matter where I am, in my house, the remote monitor lets me know she is moving from the chair or the bed.

Works great. My wife has Lewey Body and Meniers disease. A fall risk. She recently had kyphoplasty surgery on her spine for two compression fractures. So, I didn't want her to fall again. I have a 13-inch mattress and my wife just weighs 115 lbs. Alarm goes off every time she sits on the edge of the mattress.

Be prepared to jump into action 6-8 times a night as your loved one simply shifts positions in bed. I mean, great, if they were actually getting up, yes - I'd want the alarm. But this is bull----t. Even when I changed it to the normal, non-sensitive setting, it went off several times when my loved one moved. I'm hoping it's worth it getting up several times a night for false alarms, for that one time he actually gets out of bed during the night. We shall see.

Works well. May have ups and downs if you have an adjustable bed. I’m planning on duct, taping it to the floor next to the bed for more reliable use. It is an excellent product and I would buy it again. It’s well worth the money and safety for your loved ones.
