Really nice. Good quality, well built and very responsive. Looks and feels nice. Easy to use. If you typically use offset joysticks you’ll find your thumb naturally drifting towards the d-pad, but you’ll get used to it the more you use it, and you’ll want to.

Amazing quality, connects easy to the Mac with no issues. Played a few Steam games on it and it feels extremely comfortable in my hands.

I've been using this for about a month now, the joysticks feel better than my previous controllers dualshock 4 and dualsense, i will give it some negative feedback on the ergonomics, i feel like the Dualsense is more comfortable in the hands in terms of size it's basically the same or close to the dualsense, the paddles are basically useless for me, the way your hands naturally sit on a controller render these useless. the position you'd have to play in to hit these aren't good I play mostly a rocket league which isn't the target audience for this controller so bare this in mind the profiles are useless for me to too, cause i use circle dead zone through steam and the profiles seem to knock it off and default the controller to Rocket leagues default dead zones which are a mix of circle and cross. BUT the software is easy to use and you can save more than one profile which is nice for other games. so it's not completely useless to me like the paddles i've seen some reviews saying the triggers are squeaky, mine aren't. overall would recommend this controller if you play mechanically inclined games and are at a decent skill range i would honestly rate it 4/5 because of the paddles but i didn't buy it to use them so i'm not too hurt by the fact they're placed so poorly so that's why i went with 5.

This is my favourite controller, moreso than the Ultimate controllers also produced by 8Bitdo. I prefer this classic layout, probably because I prefer games that are on the retro side. It works great with Windows, Switch and Android. Plus there are the two back buttons should I ever figure out a use for them.

I’ve been using the 8BitDo Pro 2 Bluetooth Controller (G Classic Edition) for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become my go-to for gaming across multiple platforms. The retro-inspired design is a great touch, and the controller feels solid and comfortable to hold, with excellent build quality throughout. The upgraded Hall Effect joysticks are a big improvement—super smooth and accurate, and no stick drift to worry about. It connects easily to Switch, PC, Android, iOS, and even the Steam Deck, and switching between them is really simple thanks to the physical mode switch on the back. I also love how customisable it is using 8BitDo’s software. You can remap buttons, fine-tune stick sensitivity, and set up macros. The two back paddles are a bonus for extra functionality without cluttering the layout. Battery life is excellent, easily lasting through long sessions. The only thing worth noting is a small amount of input lag when using Bluetooth in certain games. It’s not a major issue for casual use, but if you're into competitive play, using it wired is probably the better option. Overall, though, it's a brilliant, flexible controller that feels great to use.

The controller feels great especially the buttons, sticks and triggers. The customisation software is pretty good and the turbo function works well. The battery life is good and it works fine with windows as well as android.

Love this controller it fits brilliantly . It plays with nearly all my Bluetooth connections. Gaming paradise. Button mapping is perfect my favourite hand held THE ( RG CUBE XX loves it. Recommend this fabulous controller. 👍

Excellent pad for playing retro games on my Retrobat emulator and mini PC

I've been using this for about 2 months at the time of writing this review. Firstly, I love how this feels in my hand. The build quality feels premium. The d-pad is a joy, doesn't feel clicky. The joysticks and buttons feel great too. I've played with Xbox controllers (360, One, Series X) and PS 4 controllers. With the Xbox controllers, I used to have pain on my palm after intense sessions. This one goes for hours (amazing battery life too, by the way) without any discomfort on my hands. And if you run out of battery, you can take out the included pack and swap in a couple of AA cells. Also worth mentioning that even though the layout is that of a PS4/Switch controller, you can change configuration to an Xbox controller via their software, store the config directly on the controller and switch to it with 1 button. Love that, since I'm used to Xbox controllers. I use it paired with either my NVDIA Shield TV Pro for GeForce NOW gaming, or with my Macbook, and it works smooth with both. Rumble isn't supported by the Shield unfortunately, but that isn't 8bitdo's fault. Overall, a solid, well-made controller that is worth the money.

This is a fantastic controller and actually better than my more expensive ps5 controller. The build quality is great. Switching to a new controller always takes some getting used to, but it did not take long to get used to this one. Good shape. Compatible with every single platform out there. Hall effect sticks! The jury is still out, of course, but in theory this means it wears down slower. No more stick drift!
