Bought this for my son as he is studying the Highway Code while learning to drive.It’s the standard current Highway Code and although it does differ from the DVSA guidance in several places as that also provides best practice guidance this is still the Highway Code.It’s a fair price as I think they are all standard.It’s as useful as it always has been given it’s just a book and we all know how likely my son is to ever read it again after passing except to argue with some bloke on Facebook.

This Highway Code is the Fifth Impression of the Seventeenth Edition, dated 2024, and a little newer than one included in a different kit I reviewed recently. That one is dated 2022, but is still the Seventeenth Edition. I haven't found any differences between the two, apart from the page numbers being one page adrift.The square L plates are made from thin flexible magnetic material similar to whiteboards and the like. They are clearly-printed and seem to be of good quality and stick well to car bodywork.I intended the kit for a relative planning to learn to drive. Having perused this newest Highway Code, I can see how much it has changed since I last read it, and I'll be keeping one of them for a while to get up to date. For example the new road user hierarchy is something many drivers aren't aware of, but should be.Fairly-priced at £9.99.

Only the cards were delivered. No Highway Code, so not much use. Poor service.
