Better than expected.
The media could not be loaded. Wow this thing is super heavy duty and well made. It is completely compatible with the Deefiine 4 inch wood lathe chuck from amazon. They say it is compatible with the Bauer 4inch chuck from harbor freight. Which I think is also the same company that made the Deefiine chuck. It is also incredibly heavy solid steel construction. Not quite sure why they didn't use aircraft grade aluminum. But when it gets spinning there is quite a bit of inertia so there is not a lot of slow down when you're working on your material. The gripping buttons on the wheel are all tapered to give a very positive grip. And they are a medium hard non-marring polymer. When mounted on the chuck and spinning there is no wobble. Tested it on a small four inch cedar bowl and it did not leave a mark but yet held very firmly. Easily worth the price.

Bad quality from factory...
I trusted the bright shiny marketing on their Amazon store front. Mounted it on my lathe and found the runout was .75mm, shook my lathe. Measured everything, my lathe spindle threads, my lathe spindle face, nothing more then .0038mm runout. Mounted this chuck back and the body of the chuck is indeed a minimum .75mm off in runout. Contacted seller. Seller says .75mm to much, should be .25mmDropping off for return today. Teknatool (Nova) says their runout should be .06mm I ordered one today. Fun fact. Teknatool (Nova) DOES NOT have an official Amazon store. I called them today in Florida and they said if you order a Nova off Amazon you will have no assurance of what you are getting. They officially sell through a couple woodworking stores and their own Ebay store (novateklabs). Happy turning.
