I'm amazed at the reviews that say everything sticks, I'd be willing to bet they used high heat which it specifically says not to do. They also recommend using oil for your first time cooking in them, after that it's not needed. Did they use oil? Medium to low heat only, but that's all you need. I've used the larger frypan twice and both the small frypan and square frypan once. All were extremely nonstick, my food just slides out of them. The only place it attempted to stick at all was to the metal bolts (not coated in ceramic) that hold the handle on, but even that came off easily with a scrubbie. These pans heat and cook quickly and evenly, there's no need for high heat. And I love the color! A beautiful blue in the drab sea of greys and stainless, it's actually refreshing to see. They are lightweight good looking pans. That said, there are a few downsides to this set. They are on the smaller side. The biggest frypan couldn't hold enough to make a meal for more than 2 people, and there's nothing bigger in the set. I'm going to have to add a pan to this set. The other issue is one that most oven safe cookware with lids will have. Since the handle on the lid is metal, it does get quite hot when cooking on medium heat. You're going to need a hot pad or Ove Glove to remove it. But those are my only complaints so far. I think it's a wonderful set for the price. I have no intention of putting the pans in the dishwasher, lids maybe. These pans are so easy to hand wash. I also won't be using metal utensils aside from maybe the occasional soup spoon. I would bet I'll more than get my money's worth out of these. Money well spent.

Received this set June 26, 2026. Extremely well packed and in perfect condition. Gave all a good hand washing and they were ready for use. I had purchased two of this same Gotham Steel ceramic pans, June 12th, and found them to be Amazing! We used them as much as possible for a couple of weeks and NOTHING would stick to this ceramic surface! I even 'fried' chicken until it looked like I had had it on the BBQ, to long, and NOTHING! It lifted out of the pan, and after allowing the pan to cool, the crispy, crusty wiped out of the pan with a paper towel. This situation I tried with other food items, same thing! A little soap and water and drying was all needed prior to the next use! You truly DO NOT NEED OIL OR ANYTHING ELSE! EGGS SIMPLY LIFT RIGHT OUT OF THE PAN! It seems like these pots and pans should last for many great years of service. As stated in the instructions: ALWAYS USE ON MEDIUM TO LOWER HEAT, FOR BEST RESULTS! It states you can use metal utensils and it surly seem you could, but we love these pans, so we prefer to offer them the extra edge of 'gentle use' anyway. Try then! You'll love then. No more soaking pans for hours and still having to 'scrub the heck' out of them!

Wow, I'm so glad I bought this pot set. They were beautiful. They are beautiful and the cooking is nonstick. These were a good investment am the cleaning them was very easy. You can literally use a paper towel.

3 month update: I had been using the small frying pan to cook breakfast sausage on low heat and I noticed that after 4 uses there are now stains that I cannot remove. I tried what the manufacturer recommended, dawn soap, salt and vinegar, and gently tried to scrub the stains off. It didn’t work. The stains are not horrible, but disappointing. The rest of the set is still intact and beautiful. I love my sausage, so to cook them I bought a small set of cast iron skillets with lids, and they actually cook better. For frying things like chicken, bacon, or sausage, I don’t recommend using this set. Eggs cook very nicely, ground beef, and any other foods will work. When the grease splatters and cooks onto the outer surface, that’s what makes it difficult to clean. Original review: First, I always read reviews, both good and bad before a purchase over $100. There were mixed reviews regarding this Gotham cookware set. Because these are ceramic non-stick, I researched how to care for them. Based on the reviews and what learned about ceramic cookware, I decided to purchase this set because, for the money, the beauty of this set, the extra care is worth it to me. Many reviews have said that it chips. Many reviews have said they become discolored and no longer have a nonstick finish. But, I have to assume that these reviewers may not have completely followed the recommended care. For ceramic cookware, you cannot use them on high heat, you only need medium to low heat. The manufacturer says they are dishwasher safe, but could cause discoloration because of the detergent. It also says NOT to use cooking sprays! So, as I do not do a lot of cooking anyway, and when I do, I use my cast iron cookware for higher heat foods so for me, this set is for regular meals that don’t require high heat. Like another reviewer stated, she hand washes her pots and pans to keep that iridescent shine and silvery edges from fading. Because they are nonstick, it’s literally 2 minutes to wipe them clean. I have thrown out ALL my cooking sprays just in case someone in my household uses them on my beautiful new cookware. I found that on an old ceramic set, using cooking spray on ceramic ruins them! So far, I have absolutely no complaints about this fabulous and classy set of cookware! The only thing that is a con is the set of plastic utensils that came with it. The first use of the spatula melted and became discolored. The utensils are not the greatest, but I purchased a set of silicone utensils and those work well. I love that all the tops cover all the pots and pans, and I love that the tops all have a boil vent. I am very happy and love my new cookware! My recommendation, follow the recommended instructions for care, don’t use metal utensils, cooking sprays or high heat and hand wash these elegant pots and pans and they will last forever. Very pleased and highly recommend this product.

Great set

My one small skillet is HORRIBLE. Everything sticks even w PAM or Olive oil. I do not use but low heat! Will not come clean. Almost defective. Do not buy. Cannot get clean no matter if I soak w dawn or scrub.I am alone so this is a perfect size for breakfast eggs. Sure wish it had a warranty. Will need to do some research!

Easy to clean. But smaller then the usual sets I had before. Very light. But burns easily. And scratches easily.

I bought a Gotham frypan and loved it the first two times I used in, then scratches appeared which I knew wasn’t from me as I only use silicone utensils. Upon closer examination I found more scratch marks underneath the non-stick surface. I returned it and bought a new one. Same thing happened! Hundreds of scratches on it now and it’s no longer non-stick! Very disappointing Gotham!!
