This is a style of case that encloses your fragile iPhone almost completely, protecting it from knocks and drops and increasing its resistance to bending and twisting. It is made in three sections. A two-part rigid plastic casing clips together and covers the front and back of the phone, with openings for the controls and ports and camera and microphone etc. The screen is protected by a clear flexible plastic window. The phone in this shell is not much bigger, but the whole assembly then tucks into a rubber open-fronted 'boot' that gives the shock absorption and further enclosing of the phone, leaving only the camera lenses and sensors panel and speakers uncovered. An integral flap covers the charging port.Although the case comes with an illustrated instruction sheet and there is a generic video in the listing, it took me while to work out how to open the case. The front edge of the rubber outer shell has a lip that engages with a groove on the front of the inner case. It just needs to be carefully peeled off, starting at the charging port. The inner case is then split by easing open a number of latches around its edge.The phone fitted perfectly in the case, and immediately felt less vulnerable. The screen seems just as responsive, but I was surprised to find it looked a little darker, with a blue tint. Of course, I had failed to remove the protective film form the inside of the window. There is a corresponding window at the back for the Apple logo.Rubber buttons that form part of the outer case moulding allow the side buttons to be operated, and the case hardly impedes use of the phone. One issue I had was that I had a magnetic lead with an adaptor in the charging port, which was not fully accessible. I solved this by cutting off the cover flap, and grinding the inner case slightly. But really, this case is not compatible with this particular adaptor or similar ones. The flap would not close with anything in the port.This is an excellent protective case, and not at all expensive at about £8.50 with current discount. The other colours are around £11.

Needed a phone case for my iphone 7 plus. Comes well wrapped. Has a plastic exterior with a rubberised interior to cushion the phone, comes with screen protectors. Doesnt leave fingerprints and is easy to hold. Apparently if the screen protector gets small scratches it will repair itself. Cant comment on how good the impact protection is - hopefully should I need it it will work.

I got this for 7 plus. The quality of the case is good; it feels durable. The cutouts are also well done. It fits nicely and snuggly and protects the phone well. This case is designed with raised lips around the screen and camera, which provide reasonably good protection if your phone falls flat. It comes with two screen protectors, which is a bonus. My only slight niggle is that the texture at the back is not grippy as I would like.
