🎯 Capture the unseen force – pressure mapping made brilliantly simple!
Fujifilm Prescale Ultra Low LLLW (3LW) is a 4" x 2.5" pressure indicating film that instantly reveals pressure distribution and magnitude between contacting surfaces by changing color intensity proportional to applied force (28-85 PSI). Its ultra-thin, flexible design fits tight or curved spaces, making it perfect for precise, non-invasive pressure analysis in R&D and quality control. The film offers a permanent, one-time-use snapshot with an 18-month shelf life, supported by a color calibration chart for easy interpretation.

Perfect pressure readings!!
We make mirrors for automotive applications. The mirrors are held in place with a two sided adhesive pad. One critical measure is force. We need to put enough pressure for correct time to allow the adhesive to set. Prior to finding the film, we had no reliable way to check. This film worked perfect for the application. We are placing 115 pounds of pressure on the mirror glass from our press. That is translates to 45 pounds in the finished assembly as the force is absorbed by the pad. I just ordered another 4 sets of film. This is a solution that makes our process stable and verifiable. And - there is no software or any other references needed. The color chart worked and we could easily see the reading through the hue of the pink trace. Well worth the money for the ability to validate our process.

Hard to use
I felt fooled by this stuff. You need the special software to make the color pressure maps. Without the software, it’s just shades of pink that are very hard to quantify. Having used plastigage before, I was expecting something I could interprete by eye. I had been emailing the vendor directly, but they repeatedly asked the same questions and ignored my responses - might as well have been a poorly trained chat bot.

Lack of instruction
No instructions included, transparent sheet is to have it work, but not knowing you will think is just part of the packaging
