Took fishing this morning mounted on one of my Abu Garcia rods. Smooth cast, ratio afforded a good smooth return, no back lashes!! Highly recommend. I am in the process of replacing all my RH reels with LH. Will consider this reel in the future. Wish it came in red because I like my stuff to match, not that the fish care!!

This is my 1st baitcaster reel and I haven't got the famous birds nest yet! Very good quality and looks amazing! Pair it with one of their poles for under $100!

For 35 dollars it’s worth it. The tension knob and drag both click which is cool. I have hooked in a decent amount of large mouth (1 pound to 4 pounders). So for bass fishing works good. Only real issues is the usual for cheap bait casters. It experiences a decent amount of back lash even on light casts. And is extremely light and just has that hallow feel you get reeling with a cheap bait caster. For the money cant be upset beats out every single Temu and cheap bait caster. Probably the best for the price. And looks wise it’s pretty clean. I would recommend it.

I was excited to try this out as I’m testing different bait casters out whilst I find my fit. Right now that’s the Piscifun Torrent 2 but that’s a different story. This item bird nests almost every cast, even with tension at max and brake on 10. In fact, I don’t believe the brake works at all. The tension at max setting free falls any weight >1/4oz. Reeling in is smooth, I’ll give it that. But build quality is $20 worth. The weight is nice. Size fits my hand nicely. But everything else is a pass for me. Onto the kastking next
