I thought the book was really helpful and had useful practice questions.

Great book, great for everyday practice. Answers are easy to navigate at the back and it covers pretty much everything to do with LNAT including difficult words and contextualised section A essays

I've been using this book for nearly 3 weeks now and have noticed improvement in my time management skills for each passage (under 8 minutes) and have started getting far more correct answers. Lots of questions to practice from, explanations at the back that help you learn from your mistakes, lots of guidance on essay structure with examiner comments and tips on 15 different examples of essays, and access to a free ebook from the ultimate guide series. Although I have noticed when I do mocks from the law in mind website there are some style of questions you might not find in this book such as giving a title for the passage you have read or whether the tone of the passage is critical/ analytical. Perhaps this is because this is the 2022 edition? Not sure so use this recourse alongside other websites though Ik there are new (2025) versions now

Clear explanations, realistic practice questions, and helpful essay tips. It’s easy to follow and really boosts confidence. Highly recommend for solid LNAT preparation.

Personally I just felt like this book didn’t set me up to the standard the LNAT demands. It was useful in helping develop the skills required however when it comes to actually preparing you for the exam, I wouldn’t recommend. The questions are significantly easier, the extracts are not comparable to the actual LNAT and it just genuinely didn’t feel through. I purchased because it was a cheaper option, but in this scenario investing in a higher quality resource is the way to go

Just received the Ultimate Guide to the LNAT, and as a French student who has only vary rarely written essays in English, I'm finding the section B advice really useful. The questions for section A are also very well thought out, and there are so many to do!

The sheer amount of multiple-choice questions and annotated essays makes the preparations so much easier and clearer. Now I really feel prepared for the test. Recommend it!

I got this book for my husband, and the questions are really good for test prep. Would definitely recommend to anyone studying for the LNAT.

Highly useful - I found the answer explanations very thorough and clear. Covers a wide variety of topics which is excellent in developing your adaptability skills. The essay section was detailed and provided clear examples from which to both gauge/improve your own writing. There were, however, a few errors in the marking grid that were inconsistent with the multiple choice explanations, but nonetheless an excellent resource!
