This timer is very easy to use. I was so happy to find one that does not mess around with a lot of buttons that do what? This one is very straight forward. As my photo shows when the two "white" buttons are pressed together it goes to zero. Press in your time and hit the "Red" button to start and you are off ready to go ! The size is perfect and just fits well in the palm of your hand. I have had smaller timers and the space separation between the buttons always is to close together and the button size to small to make the process extra easy and very important "fast". It comes with the battery pre- installed. I am most pleased with excellent quality, fair pricing and quick shipping I received. I really think you will be as well.

Works great, I appreciate that it came with batteries. Just open and go. We Use it for homeschooling: kids can time how long they read to keep track (count up), set time for completing tasks, taking turns with toys, or time outs (count down). Counts up like a stopwatch or you can set a certain time and it counts down and beeps after time is up. Beep is kind of annoying but does the job. You can shut off the beeping or if you don't it will shut off eventually after what seems like quite a long while (maybe 5 minutes). Have it for stars because the beep annoys me and wish there were other options. :)

Already had one of these for quite a while and like it. This is a second, not a replacement. Easy to use and LOUD!

I've used this as a kitchen timer nearly everyday since I bought it in Sept 2015. I don't think I've ever needed to change the battery yet, even though sometimes I leave the stopwatch function running overnight! The magnet has never slid down the fridge on its own. The alarm can be heard from another room over the sound of a TV. It beeps continuously for a minute until you stop it, which is annoying, but effective at being heard. I can't really hear it past two walls, but that's good for my neighbors.There's only a couple of cons I can think of: The first is that holding the minutes and/or seconds button(s) won't count up faster, such as skipping past increments of 5. It's only annoying because the timer will beep past every single number on the way up. The second con is that you can't time anything for more than 99 minutes 99 seconds. I didn't remove any stars from my rating though because I consider both of these cons very minor to me.So overall, if all you need is a simple timer/stopwatch combo that's reliable and lasts, this is a fantastic buy for your money.

This is hands down the best timer on the market. Curiously, some people have complained about the very aspects that in fact make this a great timer. Some said it is "too loud." This is preposterous. Being not loud enough is what makes ninety-five percent of timers complete failures. If you set a timer for say fifteen minutes, what are you going to do - stand in the kitchen for fifteen minutes staring at the timer, waiting for it to go off. No - you go about your business. But if you're in another room you want to be able hear the timer.Then several people said "you can't turn it off." Huh? What? Are these folks escapees from the Funny Farm? You just push the Red button once and it stops - it's called a . . . er, "Start/Stop" button. It has three simple buttons, and if you hold down the "Minutes" button it shoots up very fast to whatever number of minutes you want.All in all, this looks good, and works perfectly. After I got the first one, I went back and bought three more for future reference, that's how good this is, and on top of everything it's very inexpensive.

I bought one of these a couple months ago, and another one last week. The first one met all expectations, except that the battery was installed in the wrong direction. However, the plastic strip that you remove to allow the battery to make its initial contact was in place, so it was just a matter of turning the battery around to fix it. I liked it enough to buy another one that I just received. There were no issues with the second one.These are solid and well designed units that do a couple of simple functions well -- that of a a timer and that of a count-down alarm. The white buttons set minutes and seconds, and the red button starts or stops the count. They max-out at 100 minutes. They serve my purposes well, and I neither want nor need them to have any fancier features.

My old timer stopped working properly. Ordered this one. Reasonably priced, works as expected.

Finally I found a timer that does the job. Super easy to use would recommend it. In fact I think I might buy another one!
