The accuracy of this temperature gauge is fantastic, I have been very impressed with it. The build quality and functionality also are very impressive and I feel like it will last a very long time. I like the orange colour as it stands out in my drawer, while also being the perfect size to fit in a drawer divider.

Purchased to replace my old thermometer that had stopped working. This is a great thermometer, I love the big display on it. Works perfectly & very bright. Just open the prong to get display, close to turn off. So easy to use. Arrived on time & well packaged. Highly recommended.

Good thermometer, bought to test temperatures in baking. While the thermometer is good easy to use and very well made the thermometer is a little to slow to reach a reading, takes about 15 seconds by which time the baking is cooling down, so don't get the true maximum temperature. can't fault the packaging with everything supplied, battery, screwdriver to get you working in no time

This is an essential piece of kit for every home learning to cook things in an air fryer as well as conventional cooking and BBQs. Beautifully made and functional the slim probe rapidly tells you the temperature of something at its tip so you know exactly whether the centre of a M&S nibble is hot enough to enjoy, e.g. 75 degrees or higher, regardless of how burnt the outside looks! Often it is half the time you'd expect from reading the packet instructions for a fan oven if the items are small so the hot air can circulate well. I haven't tested the feature which makes this particular thermometer so perfect - it says it is waterproof . . . its predecessor cost twice as much from a high street shop and didn't claim to be waterproof so predictably it died when inadvertently got washed up . . . Ideally I won't test this feature but it would be nice if it was, as it says on the tin, waterproof. The other thing I don't know about yet is its power source. Works really well from the box - switches itself on very cleverly just by noticing movement of being picked up if the probe is out and switches the back light out quickly if left on the side so it saves power very well. The battery compartment seems to simply be guarded by a cross head screw . . . but I'm not openning it till I have to. So far I'm extremely impressed by this piece of kit.

I’ve had this for a few days and used it to test temperatures for home made yogurt, and bread dough for proving. It is accurate (tested in boiling water since we know the temperature of that, then compared it touching the dough in the oven while also pointing at it with an infra-red gadget from the garage). It does take longer than 3-4 seconds to stabilise at lower temperatures but I can live with that. It’s easy to use: I’m left handed so the way the display spins round is very useful. Cleans easily too, and the magnet is handy for keeping it on the fridge!
