I’m in love with stained glass. This piece is beautiful! Large! Well mounted! Heavy! Real stained glass and solder! Comes with a very sturdy chain, that is quite long and can be adjusted to the desired length. I just snipped the unneeded links off after making it the length I wanted. Due to its weight, I used a metal hook screwed into my wooden frame that is designed to hold 10#. No way was I going to trust this piece of art to the suction cup that comes with it. Or any suction cup!! I do not know the actual weight, I’m sure it is in the description somewhere if you care to know, best GUESS... 2#-3# (?). I’ve had it hanging in my living room picture window for almost a year now, and have never tired of looking at it. It was well packaged, comes oiled, to protect the soldering I am guessing. Had to use a soft cloth to wipe it down, paper towel wanted to leave lint, it is textured. It totally accents a stained glass lamp that sits directly below it, that has birds in its stained glass shade. I didn’t have that lamp yet in my living room picture. Anyway!! If you have room for it... all 24” ( 2 feet ) of it, you will love it! Well made, worth the price in my humble opinion.I wish I had more picture windows to get the other designs for!

We bought one months ago and enjoy it daily at the business desk windowThe other TWO we bought was for my wife's anniversary present!She just loved mine so, WHY NOTshe just loves waking up to them and it just makes your window shineand keeps the birds from running into the window tooThe packaging IS TOP they secure it so no cracks, breakage can happenhanging this item you will need two people to make sure it is even, best to hand in window when early light is coming in so you can adjust it betterOver all color is nice, we will enjoy again and again!!

This panel of leaded glass birds is even more beautiful than I expected. The craftsmanship and color & quality of the glass surpassed what I thought it would be. The birds were packaged well, with just a slight sheen of oil to protect the metal on the piece. Upon inspecting the piece we found it to be in perfect condition. When the sun hits these birds, the illumination is absolutely gorgeous. This panel is in my bay window overlooking our bird feeder, and will hopefully help prevent bird/window collisions. We chose not to use the long and quite heavy chain to hang the panel. We hooked it directly to the heavy duty suction cup hooks we purchased separately. Although the piece is under 3 lbs, we purchased hooks rated for up to 11 pounds, to be on the safe side. So far, so good! If you are in the fence with this one, don't hesitate. You will love it

We ordered stained glass for a window in our den. The first order came in damaged, tail feathers were cracked, so we returned it and ordered a new one. The new one came undamaged, and we love it. It is the real thing, not plastic! We didn’t like the heavy chain the was included so we used thin green wire and work fantastic! Highly recommend, just inspect it closely!

This thing was Uber packaged to prevent damage although it arrived with one of the little rings it hangs with unattached and in the plastic bag with the chain. This means it was broken when packed which I find pretty disappointing. It took two different trips to the hardware store trying two different products to reattach it securely. This, after the first attempt at repair resulted in a heartbreaking crash to the floor. But it didn't break !!!!!FYI it is quite heavy. A little over four pounds I think . Had it not arrived broken I would rate it five stars.

As other have said, there is an oily film on the product but easily cleaned

Nice in the sun, colorful and happy.

I used this on end door of 1 of 3 sliding glass doors. The other two have sunshades so this poor lonely window needed something light and colorful. Met both goals extremely well. We used a nail on wood trim to hang. Our suction of stained glass has always been poor, so falling onto tile floor was out of question. Just love looking at this view.
