If you are a lover of music, this is a must add-on to your existing audio set-up. The 25 band audio spectrum analyzer is shipped along with user manual, warranty card, type-C USB cable for powering the unit and a remote control. AAA batteries for the remote control were not included. Just insert the AAA batteries in the remote control, power the unit with a good quality 5V 2A USB power supply and an audio patch cable and you are ready to go. Excellent visual experience of the frequency response of the audio signal. Added benefit is the BLUETOOTH 5.0 feature which makes your audio set-up wireless to connect to portable devices like Laptops, mobile phones and PC's. The received BLUETOOTH audio quality is excellent as it uses the latest BLUETOOTH 5.0 protocol. It can be also used as an extremely accurate digital clock when you are not listening to music. The product was very well packed. Extremely satisfied with the quality and build of the product. Go for it.

Easy to setup and it works like a champ! Now I can zone out on lights. The remote is nice otherwise it would be hard to operate.

The Quality & Functionality is good but it doesn’t have some of the visuals from the older one & is missing the red lights on the bottom. Is easy to use & it gives you old school vibes when jamming your songs.👍🏼

On October 27, 2025, I purchased the [Upgraded] VFD Audio Spectrum Analyzer Bluetooth 5.0 Receiver 3.5mm AUX Selector (from Amazon). It stopped working after 2 months of use. The device would not turn on. I followed steps in the "self troubleshooting" instructions to no avail. I was able to hear a sound when I plugged the device to power but the display did not turn on at all. On January 16, 2026, I sent an email to the Douk Support team to ask about options when a device stops working. They responded right away and stated that I described what they believed to be a defective capacitor on the board and asked if I was "willing to weld it to fix it" so they could send me "the needed capacitor" for me to replace on my own. I was honest and told them I could not weld it to fix it because I do not possess the tools or skill to do so. They responded by asking for my shipping address so they could send a free replacement. By February 16, I had the replacement on hand. Douk's support stood by their product and did NOT hesistate to fix my problem I had with the original defected VFD Audio Spectrum Analyzer. Their attention to my sitation was greatly appreciated.

Works very well. Very high quality spectrum display with a solid and meticulous build. Looks great in a lit room, but really shines in the dark. Pure retro nostalgia (which is what it was bought for) I love this company's products. Coolest audio equipment there is bar none.

If you're not afraid to experiment with the remote control, you can figure this thing out. The instructions are quite lacking. I don't have anything plugged into it. I just used the microphone, don't want to run my signal path through something cheap like this haha! Haha! I mainly bought it for the clock because I really like these types of displays. And as a clock it's awesome. It does have some nice options for the spectrum analyzer and it does work well for that. With the microphone. It's just rather cryptic on how to use it. Could have used with a much better labeled remote control rather than a generic one. But for the price I paid I guess it's to be expected. I really enjoy having it though, looks really good. Just sitting there displaying the time and looks nice when it's in spectrum analyzer mode. Just love these type of vacuum fluorescent displays.
