Q: What material are these made from? Is it leather?

not sure what they are made of - a sort of rubbery material???? but first thing in the morning feel relaxing - I am getting another pair in case they wear out - only disadvantage is that you can't wear socks with them and so not good for colder weather - wish they would make a shoe or a slipper - my plantar fasc is now 6 months on and on the way to recovery.

Q: Has anyone used these whilst working standing up? I have a stand-up desk, on a wooden floor...would these be enough or would I also need a mat?

I don’t wear to work but i do use a lot I wear as slippers as they are only things that support my feet and allow me to walk pain free as arched

Q: Would these be suitable for the swimming pool instead of the usual no-support flip flops? I go at least 3 times a week. Would getting wet spoil them?

They wouldn't slip and the top surface is quite nice grippy rubber so would be perfect for the pool, but the straps are nylony material so would take a while to dry out - don't know if this could spoil them if you didn't rinse out the chlorine and let them dry properly after every time you swam.

Q: I am uk size 5 which size should i order?

I am a size 5 and I ordered a 5 and they are a perfect fit. There is a tiny bit of room at the front and the back, so perfect for my size 5 feet.
