Ruined By The Reckless Viscount (Mills & Boon Historical)

I've not read a Sophia James novel for some time, but this story was fantastic.I read it, loved it and then someone else who reads historicals as well went and said exactly the same things I had thought about it to me.We both agreed it was well worth the read. The fact that this person is an accomplished painter may also have something to do with it!A very respectable, if closeted and artistic lady, accidentally gets abducted by a man trying to help someone out.I can't really say anything else without spoilers. I will say the heroine becomes a recluse as a result and that the hero almost dies when they are apprehended, but by a twist of fate both partially rehabilitated characters end up re-entering society at the same time.

I have written this review to warn future purchasers.I ordered this book for my elderly mum. It arrived on time and in good condition. However, the text inside was not large print (which I believe is 16 point). Via comparison, I estimate the text to be 12 point.The 'look inside' feature does not let you 'zoom' down to the book's actual page size. To give a true representation of text size.

Well written, good content, original story couldn't put it down. The Ton which thrived on gossip alone and could destroy reputations , businesses in a blink of an eye regardless of how wealthy or powerful they where . The characters in this story where really beautiful.

I love this book SO much!! It's very deep, emotional and the both main characters are beautifully created. I highly recommend it!!!

Fabulous read very well written,loved the characters and story line it gets you very involved. Another success.
