Quick - it works in transmitter mode, comes with useful cables that are long enough, and the display screen is very helpful. Doesn't come with a charging block (but what does nowadays). I haven't tried in RX mode so can't speak to that. Detailed - I tried 3 other options before this transmitter and they weren't great. Some issues I had with the other options that I found on amazon - latency or audio lag, blind device connection, lacking connection cables, requiring charging/ not powered, not reconnecting or remembering the same device when it's powered back on, really bright distracting indicator lights, and disconnecting at short distances. This one works and doesn't have any of those issues. The screen is key and makes it so much easier to pair with devices and check volume and status. If you press the play/pause button you can mute your device, but using the controls on your headset work fine too. It came with various connecting cables. I used the optical as I wanted to use bluetooth headphones to connect and listen to tv audio. I've not tried to use it in receiver mode. I have experienced zero audio lag. It remembers the devices that I've connected it to after it's been powered off. Has distinct separate buttons that make it more usable. I've had clear connection about 25 feet away (unobstructed). Only negative for me is that it does not auto-shut off when not in use and the volume light is always on.

Works great! Crystal clear sound, no lag or static. Works with 2 sets of bluetooth devices. Easy to use, couldn't ask for more. Definite value for the money, would buy from again!

Does everything I need it to, meaning I can connect audio systems wirelessly using this as a transmitter and another bluetooth receiver. Somewhat confusing to use, the manual is difficult to understand at times. Can not boost volume beyond the input, so it was quieter than I liked.

Easy to install, works exactly the way I wanted. The tiny speakers in my bedroom TV were difficult for me to hear and when I turned up the volume to near maximum There was often distortion. Since I primarily watch You Tube this made the information hard to understand and annoying to listen to. This TV lacked Bluetooth and I didn't want to hardwire any extra speakers across the room. I installed this unit as a BT transmitter, and paired it to a wireless speaker above my headboard. (see separate review of speaker I used.) I had to turn off built in TV speakers in TV's native setup as there was the annoying distortion and slight latency from the wireless speaker. I used the usb output on the TV to power this unit and was pleasantly surprised to see it turned off the power to this unit when the TV was turned off. The transmitter 4retained the speaker pairing when the TV was turned back on.

Didn't work for me

The product works, it's just that the display is defective. I can't tell, by looking at the display, what mode I'm in and I can't tell whether or not a device is connected. I have to just guess what mode it's in and actually have to listen to the device I'm trying to connect to and see if any sound is coming through and if sound is coming through, that means it's working. But, I can't look at the display and tell if anything is connected.

Works perfect every time. Very easy to use. Sound quality is superb. It connects so easy

1: Just me, I connected optical cable to my Roku tv, sound is fantastic, connected Anker speaker first, really good sound 2: Then connected Between Pro ear buds, sound blew me away, even people with a heavy accent was clear and understandable. 3: I can walk any place in my 4 bedroom home and will not break connection, up or down stairs. 4: Used TX connect, do not have need for RX, but should work well. 5: No battery, can us usb connect on tv, connection is easy directions are fairly readable, if using optical cable, remove rubber protection pieces. 6:Yes Yes you can have the tv speaker on also, maybe not all TV's check ur tv settings , if using ear buds or speakers without volume control u can use volume control on wireless adapter. 7: I have used a lot of wireless adapters, none were as easy as this BT17 to set up, good instructions and very good distance from wireless adapter I just bought another one! 8: UPDATE, if you use optical u cannot use remote to control the volume on Roku tv, connected to sound bar should be able to use soundbar remote. 9: To use tv remote to control speaker use the output for Aux (headset) on tv and transmitter, go to settings for tv, Audio - audio output, set ✓Auto, now on Roku you can mute and control volume, tv will only allow head phones volume to be minimal, now adjust wireless speaker volume button to go higher. This may or may not work on other TV's with optical cable.

Exelent fonctionne très bien

Heb deze nu een aantal maanden in bezit, aangesloten op tv met bluetooth 5.3 koptelefoon (JLab met noice canceling) en werkt gewoon perfect. Snelle verbinding, geluid is echt goed. Ik gebruik het gewoon voor tv en niet voor films of gamen. Ik zou het zeker aanraden..

Fonctionne a merveille

Ich verwende das Ding als Transmitter um TV sehen zu können mit BT-Kopfhörern. Das kommt manchmal vor, entweder spät Nachts, um andere nicht zu stören, aber auch manchmal Abends, wenn sich nur einer etwas auf dem großen TV (und nicht am Tablet oder Handy) angucken möchte, die anderen deswegen aber nicht das Wohnzimmer verlassen wollen um Ruhe zu haben. Dazu ist das Ding aus mehreren Gründen ideal. 1.) Die Stromversorgung läuft über USB, es schaltet sich daher mit dem TV an, an das es angesteckt ist. 2.) Das Ding ist dauerhaft im Suchmodus. Wenn also jemand den anderen bittet, die Kopfhörer zu benutzen, schaltet er diese einfach an und binnen einer Minute ist er verbunden. 3.) Es hat einen Spdif-Eingang. Viele andere ähnliche Geräte arbeiten über den Kopfhörerausgang. Die meisten TVs schalten den normalen Ton aus, sobald die Kopfhörerbuchse verwendet wird. Der spdif-Ausgang ist aber dauernd aktiv. Sobald man also die BT-Kopfhörer verbunden hat, braucht man beim TV nur noch auf Mute schalten. Dann ist der TV still, der Ton kommt aber bei den Kopfhörern an. Umgekehrt kann man aber jederzeit wieder den Lautsprecher aktivieren. Bei der Kopfhörerbuchse muss man immer aufstehen und zum TV gehen, um entweder das eine oder das andere zu aktivieren. 4.) Die BT-Verbindung funktioniert sehr gut und ist stabil. Jedenfalls bei meinem TV (ein altes Samsung-Gerät) kann man die Tonspur für den spdif-Ausgang zeitlich verstellen. Das habe ich gleich nach der Erstinstallation gemacht. Dadurch habe ich keine Probleme mit der Latenzzeit. Ich bin nach einigen Monaten Betrieb immer noch top-zufrieden und kann das Teil für solche Anwendungen jedenfalls empfehlen. Kurz ausprobiert habe ich auch das gleichzeitige Verbinden mit 2 Kopfhörern. Funktioniert, brauche ich aber eigentlich nie.

Lo utilizo como transmisor de la salida de auriculares de un antiguo amplificador y su funcionamiento es excelente en comparación con otros que he probado. Los dispositivos a él conectados, se emparejan o vinculan rápidamente y el sonido no se atenúa lo más mínimo. La pantalla es clara, muy útil para el proceso de emparejamiento. Muy fácil de utilizar y muy completo, incluyendo un control de volumen.
