The light is bright and has a dimming feature to get that "just right" ambience. Some might think the fan is loud, but I would say that for the size of the light and fan it is perfect! It is quieter than a bathroom fan and puts out a great flow of cool air! I highly recommend this fan!

Really good product. We've had this item for over a year and it is still a strong product with strong wind. The light is pretty bright. My wife likes it as an additional light while she puts makeup on. I would definitely buy it again. Easy set up, just a straight forward screw in just like a light bulb. The remote works really good as well. You can get at least about 7-10 feet away and it still registers.

Really brightens up my kitchen and fan “wind” is strong enough to reach me when stove top is hot. I had to buy an extender because the “socket part” didnʻt reach - but worth it. Iʻm about to order a 2nd one! The only thing that would improve this is an included wall mount for the remote.

It was more amazing than I expected. I had an angled socket but it was very easy to install just screw in place of light bulb. Even angled it still works and it's stable. It looks like a regular ring light. The light is very bright and for a small fan it packs quite a breeze. If I had any where else in my house to put one I would buy more.

This was bought back in February and is still working in great order. Overall the Fan Light is a great option for anyone needing a light and a ceiling fan. It screws into the light socket and rotates easily to any angle and holds the angle firmly even when the fan is on the high setting. The remote is very responsive and works flawlessly, although you do have to point the remote directly at the light/fan. The fan has 3 speed settings. The highest fan speed produces a moderate amount of noise however, I use the lowest speed setting when I am sleeping and there is virtually no sound and the lowest speed is quite adequate for cooling. The light has dimmer settings that work well and also a setting the changes the light from a very white light to a warmer tone which is nice for the bedroom. The remote also has a timer for 2 or 4 hours which I rarely use as I prefer to leave the fan on all night while sleeping. Overall I recommend this item and feel it is a good value for the cost.

Perfect solution for having a light and a fan on a makeup desk. Good size, seems to be quality material, and appearance. I would suggest using a more stable base than the one I choose as it is does have a reasonable amount of weight to it. The remote is helpful in my case you you don't have to touch it to turn it on or change the settings. I ordered the black large, small white and small black versions from other vendors on Amazon. This version looked the best and installed the easiest.

UPDATE: the remote did indeed die. I bought two and one came with another really nice plastic remote, so if you get one and you get a larger, cream colored remote, you're in business. If you get a little flat rectangle one, it's a bad bet. I do also hate that it defaults to the bluest white color when you first turn it on, instead of staying whatever color you've turned it to. It'd be great if they had a default warm light version. ORIGINAL: I had to buy an extender because this one, unlike the Bell and Howell and other enclosed ones like this, doesn't have an extender and the built in socket isn't long enough to reach for a can light. It's literally like a centimeter too short which is so frustrating because it's close. So factor in the price of an extra part if you're going to put this in track lighting or a can light. So it became a little pricier after factoring that in. I do like it a lot. I'm going to put video in later because I think there's some cool stuff you can do with this if you don't have little kids to put their hands through the back of it to get hurt. On a light stand, this thing is versatile - you can use it as a ring light and fan, although It'd be too noisy to use for videos. I like it a lot, but the remote is small and sort of flimsy in a way that makes me scared to have it as the ONLY way you turn the device on and control it. I'm not sure if it's weak, old batteries or if it's always persmickety about responding to my presses. When it does and works, it's killer, but the remote is by far the weakest point.

This is a great fan light combo for when you have an existing screw light base. Installation was easy as it just screws into the base like a light bulb. I ordered two of them for my kitchen/dining room area. It's one long area with two lights. I replaced the lights years ago as they were fluorescent lights. I added a screw base back then and have used screw in lights until now. I wanted to add fans to help circulate the air around the room. Screw in fan lights were the answer. Although I must say the lights aren't as bright as I hoped for, they still provide adequate lighting for the area. I love the remote as I can control both fans with one remote. The lights are about fifteen feet apart. I have no issues controlling one without affecting the other. The lights look good in the room and fit naturally on the ceiling.
