This is a cute towell and very large- which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but for a 7 year old - it’s big. 4 stars only because of the price - and yes would recommend.

I washed the towel *according to the care instructions,* and the fringe trim began to unravel immediately because it was not sewn down effectively at the edge. I had to carefully reweave & tie off not one but two of the horizontal rows of the the trim thread to prevent continued unraveling that would eventually result in the fringe separating from the towel, were it to continue. Once the threads detach from the stitching at the edge, they continue to unravel at the slightest touch, making repair a delicate operation. It’s a beach towel, and a pricey one; why does it have the fragility of a ball gown?

I wasn’t sure if this towel would be worth the money but i would say it’s very adorable in person! Based on the texture and the tassels i would say this would last a decent amount of time but the towel it’s self is on the thinner side compared to my real beach towels. I think it’s a little too expensive for a beach towel especially when it’s so thin but i’ve been wanting it since last summer so i gave in.
