It only works on when submerged!
Shark just would not work. After some time troubleshooting, we found that it turns on when the fan is fully submerged in water. Someone should print that on a sticker on the box to let others know. My kid will be happy for Christmas!

Do NOT hand your child the remote while they are in the tub.
Seems durable. Got here fast. Kids absolutely love it. Don’t let anyone use the remote while they are in the water because it can be dropped and this will ruin the remote and it won’t work anymore. The shark is huge too! It seems to be made well but the remote control is cheaply made. I’ll still give this 5 stars though. It’s worth it! Oh and the shark plugs into a USB port and charges, and the remote will take either a couple AA or AAA batteries.

It didn't even last a week!
It quit taking a charge after a few times of use. When it was working the Grandkids loved it. The fact that it has a dual operation modes via a slider switch is a great feature to have so you just let it go instead of having to use the R/C Transmitter controller. Why they decided to use a propietery interface jack to charge is just plain dum. An USB-C would have been a smarter choice. Why it quit working is beyond me. I'm guessing it has something to do with the charging circuit. The charging LED doesn't even come on anymore. They could've had an awesome toy for kids, but unfortunately it wound up being a waste of money piece of junk.

Great for baths
Bought this so my youngest could enjoy bath time more, he loves it. After having it for some time, it's still working.

Fun, But Not a Perfect Swimmer
The Terra by Battat Remote Control Shark is seriously cool—my kids are obsessed with it. The design is sleek, and the remote control is easy to use, which is a win for anyone who’s tired of dealing with complicated gadgets. The shark moves smoothly on land, but when it comes to swimming, it’s a little bit of a letdown. It doesn’t glide through the water as gracefully as I hoped, and sometimes it just sort of spins in place rather than swimming straight. Still, for the price and the fun factor, it’s a great toy. Fun for playtime, but just don’t expect it to turn into the next Jaws movie! 😅

Kids like it but battery doesn’t stay charged
It’s really neat in the water. It has to be in the water to work which I didn’t know. When we first charged it and put batteries in the remote we thought it was not working and about to return it until we thought maybe for some reason it needs to be in the water. It does. However after fully charging it it doesn’t run long. A few minutes like a cheap drone. 5-6 minutes. So we put it in the pool, well I had to go chase it. So if you are ok with that it works fine and the doors button makes it really fun to play with.

Didn't work at all!!! Do not recommend. Disappointing christmas present.
Do not buy!! Bought this shark for my daughter's Christmas present. Come Christmas morning, she is so excited to try it out- it won't even turn on, much less swim around in the tub. We charged it for an entire afternoon, checked the batteries in the remote, troubleshooted what we could but it was a complete dud. Extremely disappointing- save your money.
