Ignore the bad reviews!
This screen protector is great! Had to read the instructions a few times but one applied there were hardly any air bubbles and it went on really smoothly. Doesn’t affect the image quality and feels much better for drawing! Fits perfectly around the camera and home button.

Great Paper-Like Feel for iPad
This screen protector is a game-changer for anyone who loves sketching or writing on their iPad. It gives a brilliant paper-like texture that makes using the Apple Pencil feel so much more natural. The installation was straightforward, and the matte finish reduces glare, which is a bonus. It does slightly reduce screen clarity, but that’s expected with this type of protector, and the trade-off is absolutely worth it for the improved feel. If you’re after a more tactile, paper-like experience on your iPad, this is a great buy!

Works for writing but difficult to put on without air bubbles.
Have not tried alternative paper simulated screens. The feel is better than writing on screen. Found it difficult to attach without air bubble. May be my technique was not that good.

Quality and finish superbe, very happy with finished result.
In the name of full disclosure, my first attempt at putting one of these on did actually go horribly - horribly - wrong. Not the products fault, I lost concentration and that was that.Second attempt though worked like a charm, no bubbles - everything lined up - camera and home button all alighed. Actually a thing of beauty: nice, matt finish, really does reduce on fingerprints and smears and improves the functionality of an Apple Pencil about 1000 fold.Without the screen I could bearly understand my hand writting, let alone get my iPad to but the matt surface really does feel like writing on paper giving you just so much more control.Definately a keeper, be interesting to see how long it lasts. As I say, application in the end turned out to be a doddle, just remember to peel the backing (sheet 1) off only enough so the home button end of matt sheet contact with the iPads actual surface when you flip the sheet back over after cleaning the iPads surface - you just want enough so as you can squeegee the rest on in a shooth action, pushing the rest of sheet 1 off as you do so and you're pretty much done, chase out any stray bubbles and, when you're ready, peel off the protective film (sheet 2) and you're finished.Shame I wasted one learning, but you - can't make an omlette without breaking something....Quality and finish superbe, very happy with finished result.

Really not worth the money, very poor quality, no instructions and problematic to fit
Not worth the effort, there are no instructions with the screensaver apart from a video on the listing, this doesn't make it clear whether or not to place the item along the top, or bottom, edge when preparing it. I didn't notice any mention that the SS is matt in finish and so gets very easily marked by the Apple Pencil leaving unsigtly marks on the screen. All in all after attempting two seperate fittings it still didn't go down clean, didn't sit square on the ipad and looked awful. I've fitted dozens of screensavers to iPad 11, 11 Pro and 12.9 pro with no issues, but this make had me beat. Not good value and probably best to look alsewhere

Not sold yet
Went on ok. Must say it does mean you lose some clarity with the Matt finish, it’s like dulled it down. Feels like paper but I would say ever so slightly too rough. Biggest thing I’ve noticed is there is a lag on photoshop drawing lines with the pencil, you can scribble and about 0.5 seconds later it will appear. It’s ok, will it last, I will see. Install was ok, couple of bubbles but that’s more my fault not getting the dust particle

Closest screen protector replicating a paper feel
Closest screen protector replicating a paper feel that I've found so far. Doesn't effect usage with Apple Pencil (connection very good). Doesn't seem to effect screen quality when using other apps outside of Goodnotes.

Easy to fit with a good finish
Absolutely no issues with this. Fitting was simple and achieved first time. I haven’t used any others, so keep that in mind with this review. I would say however, that from the reviews that I’ve read, there is a trade off, between a coarse, more papery feel against noise, wear and a degradation of the quality of the screen when viewing video etc. This product appears to be a good middle ground for myself. it gives the screen a matte finish, which I quite like, and doesn’t appear to degrade the viewing experience. I think I would perhaps like a slightly more papery feel, but if the tradeoff is reducing screen quality and wearing through the pencil tips more, then I’m more than happy with this. Fitting was a breeze using the provided guide stickers. Removing bubbles was easy enough with the tools. My use case is for note taking, rather than drawing, so I can’t really comment from that side, but overall very happy.
