I chose the tab at the top to cancel my plan and the icon popped up like it was doing something then nothing happend
I just went to their website to register my product. The drop down for type of product had no option for my product and you can only choose from the drop down. The manufactured drop down also didn't have the manufactured listed. I chose the tab at the top to cancel my plan and the icon popped up like it was doing something then nothing happend. I did that twice. I next linked to their contact path and told them I wanted to cancel and when I clicked submit nothing happened. I did that twice as well.

Do NOT BUY THIS WARRANTY!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS WARRANTY! The claims process is tricky. They will find any way to avoid honoring the warranty by calling any problem "damage". Even if you claim an electronic or mechanical defect, each claim requires you to chat or speak to a human representative (in this case, Paul C.) whose job is to find damage in your claim. When you ask for a supervisor, they are not empowered to fix anything. You will NOT be given any recourse but to give up and toss your electronics in the trash. After every encounter you are asked to fill out a survey rating from 1 to 5. The phone system will not allow you to give a 1 or 2 rating and says that it "cannot accept input from a rotary phone" (I'm calling from my iPhone!) I own several pairs of headphones and haven't had to use a warranty before. I won't fall for it again!

Refused to cover a mechanical break in a bluetooth headset
Assurant refused to cover a mechanical break in my bluetooth headset. They claimed it fell under accidental damage. Their posted terms and conditions specified accidental damage as related to spills, drops, etc. The mechanical break occurred in normal usage when the boom on the headset physically broke.

Sent back the item this was to protect and had to fight with this company to refund a policy that had no product to protect. They are nasty on the phone adding insult to injury.

DO NOT PURCHASE! Basically a scam
DO NOT buy this! Basically a scam. They don't actually cover most types of damage to your product -for example the fact that the product I purchased kept repeatedly breaking only 4 days after purchase did not qualify! Then they make it quite difficult to file a claim, you can't actually do it via email or online you have to "chat" with them.

No questions asked, super easy!
This warranty was totally worth the money. Two and a half years in, a part died on my headset and they refunded the entire purchase price no questions asked. it was super easy and the money went right back onto my Amazon account.
