Correct bulb for 2016 Promaster top rear lights
Plugged it in and it worked. Since it is a two pack I have a spare for when the next one goes out.

The bulbs looked similar to the ones that they replaced but...
While both bulbs worked when installed (I replace both sides even though I only needed to replace the right side lamp thinking that any subtle internal difference within the bulbs would trigger the warning light) the idiot light in the instrument cluster on the dash still stayed on and the warning text describing the bulb's location now describes a bulb failure for both locations despite both bulbs being illuminated. Must be something about VW's that causes this.

Save a Couple of Bucks
Yea, good product at good price. It was worth ordering and a short wait, to save a couple bucks, instead of just buying local. That's just me.
