I bought this as a gift for a friend because he is a rare orchid enthusiast. The plant had seven or eight leaves on it, five of which were already dead. It was put into a cheap plastic container and was hanging half out of it when it arrived. I could not give it to him as a gift. I tried to salvage it because I also grow orchids. However, the remaining 2 to 3 leaves became the same mottled color with black spots in them and dropped off and died. I threw the plant out. Never again!
