GOOD BUT DURTY
Needs thorough picking through to remove debris, shrivel lentils and foreign objects. Also very dusty. Once cleaned, good product though.

Red lentils are not available locally, and I wanted to try them. Yum!
My wife likes to make some Americanized Indian dishes, like Butter Chicken. We love the spices. We also like lentils, but only the brown and green types are available locally. I read that the red lentils were the favorite of most people so I wanted to try them, but couldn't find them locally. This is a lot of lentils for the money, and they are very tasty. When cooked they turn into a kind of sauce, my wife added them to a dish with chicken and coconut milk, and man was that good! We're going to try them as a thickener in soups and gravies. The flavor is milder than our usual lentils, on the downside they have less fiber since the outer skin is removed.
