Great product and customer services
I read all the reviews on this product and many said there is no customer support, no communication. So what I did is trying to communicate with support to see if i get any response BEFORE buying. I emailed [email protected] and get a response from Amy the next day. I asked her many questions and she answered all of them. She explained that some customers might not have reached us directly as they contacted Amazon instead of using their dedicated support email, [email protected]. There you go. Ok, don't believe me...email that and see if you have a response from Amy BEFORE u buy. Fair enough? Ok now, onto the unit.Very nice packaging, took it out the box, anticipating the famous "the tray is stuck" issue. NO, THEY TAPED the handle now. Tray comes right out with no problem. In my book the quality of the unit is pretty nice, no way it looks cheap. Ok fine, everyone's is different, I know one friend said Apple iPhone looks really cheap! No problem, move on. Is it loud when it runs at Turbo mode, sort of. Definitely not quiet but it brings the RH% down very quickly in my 600 sq ft room. From 68% to 52% in an hour and quite a lot of water collected in the tray. Air input/output (cfm) is strong, the fan is doing it's job. I had 3 returned dehumidifiers that ran very quiet but they did not bring the RH% down under 59% even it is on for hours. I returned them immediately. When the compressor runs, there is humming noise but again the RH% goes down fast. I believe that there is no 500 hp and 50 miles/gallon car, at least not yet. U get a dehumidifier for $220, that brings the RH% down fast and u want quietness? No, something has to give. I'm ok with the louder noise from the fan and the compressor and take the RH% going down quickly without spending more than $220.So far it is running fine without any issue after a month. Amy said, any future issue, email her and she will take care of it if it is still under the warranty period. I'm happy with it's performance and it's price. I'm keeping it and not returning it. Again, DO NOT use Amazon customer service, email directly to [email protected] and talk to Amy BEFORE u buy.

Bad Investment which had a happy ending!
I purchased this item in August of 2024 and it ran fine for approximately eight months. As of today it does not dehumidify at all and I have had to replace it with a different unit, not the same manufacturer. I have made several attempts to contact the manufacturer and as of yet have not had any responses. This product was ill advertised and I cannot recommend it's purchase or use to any one.The above being said, I did have a really GREAT interaction with the Gasbye Service Department. After I submitted the above, I was contacted by them. They quickly resolved the issue and offered to completely reimburse me for the defective unit (which they did.) Sometimes products have issues and some fail, the Gasbye Service Department not only resolved my issue but went out of their way to contact me and make sure that I was completely satisfied with the end result. Their efforts go a long way to insure really a good relationship between buyers and sellers. FAITH RENEWED!!

Works well out of the box, nice price, fingers crossed for longevity of the unit
So far so good, worked out of the box and I have my fingers crossed since these Chinese-made units tend to work for 1 or 2 seasons and then the compressors leak and the unit has to be discarded. THis comes with 2 year warranty if you register your unit on arrival, and for 32 dollars I bought the AMazon protection for an additonal year of coverage. I guess you can plan on replacing these units every few years and spreading the cost out hopefully over 3 years with the extra protection. Customer service so far is very good at responding to my warranty extension request.

Great customer service
This unit has worked well in our basement for the last six months -- it ran quietly, was easy to clean, and the hose that was included allowed continuous easy draining. Suddenly, it stopped working and displayed an error code. We contacted Gasbye late on a Friday afternoon and already the next day they responded and shipped us another unit which we we received on Monday -- this is amazing customer service! We highly recommend this excellent unit.

Great Customer Service - 4,500 Sq Ft. Energy Star 2024 Dehumidifier
I bought the Gasbye dehumdiifier (after much research) in June 2024 because my exisiting dehumdifier had died. It was easy to set up, the manual is clear and concise. It worked great the rest of last summer into the fall (NJ location). Unfortunately, when I turned it on in the basement earlier this week because of days of rain in the Northeast, the E3 code (refrigerant leak) came up and stayed on.. I emailed customer service late yesterday afternoon and Amy responded around 11pm. I gave her the additional information she needed and a replacment should be here within a week. Four stars mainly for customer service support. Will keep you posted on how the new one performs.
