Lesson & Theory Level 1

I would love having fewer Piano Adventure books for my piano students! Having 4 at each level is confusing to the kids.... And me... But this is the only one available in USA. I,ve been on phone with Hal Leonard to find out where to get the rest of the series: on back cover are listed all levels Primer through 4-5 with this "All in two " format. Although this has a Hal Leonard number on it, none of the others do, they are called "international edition format" and no one in U SA carries them.While the music is the same, the European names are used - minim, crotchet, semibreve, etc. so that might confuse some kids at first

My daughter's piano teacher asked us to get this book. It is easy to follow and has great exercises in it.

Combining the lesson and theory book is genius!!!! This makes one less book my daughter has to carry around. Even her piano instructor liked this new edition. He CD was not necessary since it’s better to get the app which gives you more options than what the CD can give you and it’s cheaper.

I love the idea of this combination: theory and lesson book together-fantastic! I didn’t read the information close enough to see that it was the British version of the book so all of the note names are different. It is a bit too confusing for young students. If British, this is a fabulous book!

I like the ease of having one book to take back and forth to lessons for my son.

I've been using Faber for years and really enjoy the all in one over keeping up with 2-3 books :)
