Solid Build, Clean Design, but Limited Cable Management
I recently built my PC using the Lian Li A3, and I’m overall pleased with the case. It delivers excellent build quality, a clean aesthetic, and decent cooling, but there are a few things to consider before making your purchase. Pros: Build Quality: The Lian Li A3 has a premium feel with its aluminum construction. It’s solid and lightweight, making it easy to handle and position on your desk. Design: The minimalist design is sleek and clean. The front panel is simple, with a nice look that fits well in any setup. The side panel is a mix of mesh and aluminum, providing a nice balance of airflow and durability. Cooling: While it doesn't have a dedicated front mesh panel, the case still has adequate airflow, especially when combined with good quality fans. The mesh-aluminum side panel does a decent job of letting air flow in while maintaining the case’s clean design. Compact Size: The A3 is a compact case, perfect for users who are working with limited space but still want to fit in full-size components like a standard GPU. Cons: Limited Cable Management: The cable management space behind the motherboard tray is quite tight, which made organizing cables a bit tricky. It’s doable, but not as easy as some other cases that offer more space and options for cable routing. Overall: The Lian Li A3 is a solid choice for anyone looking for a high-quality, minimalist case. While the limited cable management space and the lack of a tempered glass side panel might be drawbacks for some, it’s still a great option for users who prioritize design and compactness over flashy features. If you're okay with a bit of effort in cable management, this case is a great value.

Seriously impressive case for the size!
I’m really loving this Lian Li A3 case. For a micro-ATX setup, the flexibility is insane—being able to move the PSU around made cable management way easier than I expected. It feels super solid and well-built, which you’d expect from a DAN Cases collaboration. Even though it’s compact, it fits everything perfectly without feeling cramped. The modular design is a lifesaver, and it just looks sleek on my desk. If you're looking for a small form factor build that doesn't make you compromise on parts, this is definitely the one. 5 stars all day!

Great case, tricky planning and build
The main gimmick of this case is the ability to mount psu at different heights depending on your needs, if you want watercooling you'll need to place it lower for more room at top, want a long gpu place it higher to increase clearance upto over 400mm, want both you'll need a sfx psu which is easier to cable manage anyway, want a thick gpu, upto 4 slots but anything thicker than 2 you won't be able to have bottom fans or drives Pros. Compatible with fullsize components Looks nice(imo) Easy front panel connector Relatively compact Outstanding build quality Affordable Cons. Horrible cable management options Screws come mixed in bag Limited compatibility(may not match the maximum listed dimensions) Parts used in my build GPU: 7900gre hellhound PSU: Toughpower gf3 1000w CPU: ryzen 7 7800x3d Motherboard: mag b650m mortar wifi Cpu cooler: deepcool assasin IV(may be unavailable due to recent ban, I bought it a while before I learned of the Russia issue) Fans: artic 120mm 5 pack, I could only fit 3 with my gpu blocking the bottom 2 Would definetly reccomend to experienced builders or anyone willing to do the research on each components compatibility(or want to take the gamble) Edit: it's also important to mention that come cpu coolers like mine will prevent you from installing the side fan bar, whcih means even tho there is room between my cpu cooler and psu for a fan I can't put one there since the part the fan attaches to is blocked, because of that I could only fit 3 fans, 2 on the top and 1 in back, all exhaust unfortunately whcih means it's a negative pressure system, air can get in through the sides but this will lead to some dust build up

Very cool case
Awesome case, I was able to fit a full water cooler, fans, and a 3 fan 3060 into it. Very easy to assemble and compatible with many different options. Some of it is plastic, some is metal so do with that what you will. Very hard to cable manage it but I got it to fit onto my desk better anyway so it doesn’t bother me.

Nice case, but it's much bigger than I expected.
This is a nice case. It's well-made and very spacious. VERY SPACIOUS. I thought this would be a nice SFF case, but wow, it's big. I ended up returning it because I was trying to transplant an HP OMEN motherboard and build into this case, but after looking to order my third adapter cable, I ended up returning the case. If you're new to SFF builds, yes, this is nice and should make for an easy build. You don't have to really manage any cables, and any aftermarket (read: not OEM) motherboard should have the connections in the right place. Screws and all included components fit fine. You have tons of functionality and can add AIOs for the CPU and GPU. Overall, it's a good value for the money, but I don't think it's a SFF case, so I dock -1* for the huge volume. I ended up selling the HP Omen and building in another Lian Li case, the Dan A4-H20, and love the far smaller build. It's 11L instead of 26L and truly feels like a SFF case.

Quintessential mATX Case
Aside from the Sama IM01 being the only case smaller than this one that has no sacrifices in an mATX case + ATX PSU. I prefer this one because it is easier to work in and a higher build quality. Sure if you want thick aluminum frames and nothing else then the iron oven in the SAMA is for you. But DAN did an amazing job here making the case capable of anything you want! 140mm fans can be strapped on the top side and bottom (Bottom needs zip ties but it works) GPU can be north of 320mm long and take up as many slots as it wants with there being 4. And thermals are always a huge plus here. Because of the longer design its easy to get as much air as possible through the bottom and make a makeshift wind tunnel for the GPU+CPU. And this differs from the SAMA because of the mesh sidings. I may have just got lucky but my side panels are holding up great. No warping at all and the natural air that comes through the more accessible holes makes this case more "GPU friendly". The only downside I can think of is the lack of cable organization. But in a SFF build thats kind of their MO. TLDR: Great case 4th case to build in and the best one yet if you want smaller dont bother with mATX and go get a Fractal ITX.

A Good Case.
This is a good case for its size because it is compatible with different power supplies and has room for larger cpu coolers.

New design, I love it.
*new design *affordable *good mesh sides for cooling ***optional glass panel pictured. does not come with the base case. This case was just released this year 2024. It is all mesh on the sides which provides for good cooling. I also purchased the optional glass side panel since I was going to be using water cooling. I would not recommend this in hind site. The case is a great design at 26 liters I fit a 360mm AIO 7x120mm fans total, a very larger super flower PSU, and a RX 6800 that is 340mm (13.4in). That's a lot of big equipment for a small case. However there's not a lot of room left over to store cables. I am going to clean up my case better, wiring wise, but if you don't have patience the glass panel is just going to show a lot of wiring. The mesh will stay cooler anyways. Side note my 340mm GPU fit but it was very tricky I'm glad I was able to prove what all could fit but I would not recommend this. Either a 240mm AIO would allow you to mount the PSU higher for a long GPU, or get a SFX psu for clearance or just buy a shorter GPU any of these 3 combos would save a lot of heartache. You can see in the picks my GPU is toughing my PSU it required me to remove the shroud slightly and reinstall once the card was in place.
