Il MakiageWoke Up Like This Flawless Liquid Foundation, Full Coverage, Matte Finish, 30 ml, Shade 060

First of all, I honestly do not understand why there is only a 3.9 rating on this amazing little bottle of goodness. I hate makeup. I hate liquid foundations, I have been using powder foundation for years. I saw this advertised on Facebook and thought I’d come over and see if it was on Amazon. It was, it was expensive, but I thought oh what the heck let me try it. I AM SO GLAD I DID!!!!! This is, hands-down, the best makeup I have found in all of my 61 years on this earth. It was really odd to me to apply foundation with a brush, but I did, and it really goes a long way yet there is very very good coverage. And what’s most impressive is that it stays on! I don’t feel like I’ve lost half my foundation after half a day. I will positively pay for this until I can’t afford it any longer. It is completely worth it to me.

I'm on my second bottle of this foundation. It covers well and doesn't leave your face dry. My face had gotten so dry that it hurt to apply makeup. And I had flakes something awful. I switched-up my face lotion (Cetaphil Dry to Extra Dry Moisturizer) and foundation and now, perfect. No flakes. No sting.

After seeing countless videos and glowing reviews on Facebook, I finally gave in and tried the Il Makiage "Woke Up Like This" foundation. I was really hopeful, especially since they ask so many questions to match your perfect shade. I took my time answering everything carefully.Unfortunately, the results just didn’t live up to the hype for me. The shade I received is too dark and leans very orange on my skin—it just doesn’t look natural. I tried different application techniques, even blending it out with other products, but it still didn’t work for me.The coverage might be fine for others, but I was expecting that flawless, skin-like finish everyone raves about, and I just didn’t get it. I’m disappointed, especially considering how much buzz this brand gets and the effort they put into the matching process. Sadly, this one’s a miss for me.Oh, and shipping took more than 30 days.

I really like the product. It's not as dramatic a transformation as it shows in the pics and videos,,but it is good. Just not $44 worth of good. It doesn't settle into lines and wrinkles as badly as some liquid foundations do. It gives a matte finish. If it was closer to the $25 price point, I'd buy it again, but it isn't worth $44 to me.

It was very drying to my skin. (I used the primer before using the foundation) The color was acceptible and very light feelingon my skin. Easy to apply. Fair coverage. Just very drying. Foundation was way to drying to my skin! I would not reccommend it for marure skin.

This foundation is simply amazing! Easy to apply, not cakey looking, doesn’t settle into wrinkles. I don’t usually wear makeup, but this is now part of my morning routine. Makes me look so much better without making me look made up.

Wonderful product! I had seen a lot of positive advertising about it, but I was afraid it wouldn't be the right shade. It worked and I loved it, it was great, the coverage is also very good and the foundation has a nice smell.
