Blair's Death Rain Jolokia Pepper Cauldron Cooked Potato Chips, 3oz.

My husband and I are the type to seek out the hottest possible foods. We have 3 different brands of Ghost Chili Pepper hot sauce. We just had to order these. Upon arrival, we sat on the couch with our 10 and 6 year old sons. My husband, myself and my 10 year old (another heat lover) grabbed a single chip, counted to 3 and place the whole chip in our mouths. For 3-5 seconds, we looked at each other with a "I don't feel a thing" look. During seconds 6-10, our look changed to "It's not as hot as I expected." Seconds 11-600, we lost all looks on our faces. The heat was so intense that we just didn't know what to do with ourselves. Hearing became heightened, energy sky rocketed, slight dizziness set in with and all we could do was wait to come down from the heat high. These potato chips actually make it difficult to concentrate on a person speaking to you. They give you a sort of tunnel vision with the desire to cheat and drink milk at the end of the tunnel. The experience was well worth it. These chips don't only offer intense heat. They have amazing flavor as well which can sometimes be lost in foods delivering a dangerous heat level. We thought the little 3oz bag wouldn't be enough. I have a feeling that it will last a lot longer than I first assumed. If you love heat, try these! You will not be disappointed! Good luck.

These chips kicked in some major heat in the back of the throat!The chips are well seasoned and liberally coated, they have a nice crunch and crisp to them, and they have a nice smokey barbecue flavor to them. Not the artificial Lays kind, that's bs. This is the real barbecue flavor.The heat is not resting in the mouth like some spicy chips or food, it all lies in the back of your throat and let me tell you, I ate two bags and woke up the next day with a RAGING sore throat. It was the worst. Thankfully, I slowly recovered in the next few days but I couldn't drink or eat at all that day or the next (drinking water DO NOT DO, the gulping movement heavily disturbs and irritates the throat...it's horrible, even attempting to drink with a straw in small sips was agonizing), it was too painful. So fair warning, be cautious on how much you eat.EXPERIENCED CHILI HEADS ONLYI kid you not. Although I have met some people who are noobies with spicy food and in general do not enjoy it, but they handle heat fairly well.

These chips were a huge disappointment. As other reviewers have said, they're BARELY hotter than Flamin' Hot Cheetos.I've read some things about a bad batch, and I suppose that is possible, However, I can only review the product I was given, and that product was not nearly as spicy as I was led to believe. In fact, after eating a bunch myself, I then had friends who are less resistant to spicy foods try some to make sure it wasn't just me. None of them were overwhelmed by the heat (which they are when they get a taste of the hot sauce I regularly use on almost everything).To be fair, they did taste good, but I paid nearly $7 for this bag of chips, and it is tiny. If I can get the same thing, in a huge bag of Cheetos for $3 or less, that's just not worth it to me.To others who are considering purchasing these chips, I'd really warn you to stay away. If you're looking for intense heat, you won't find it here. You can really get the same experience for less with a bag of Cheetos off the shelf.

They are amazing! The heat just instant once you eat one there hot. I tried them before and i am buying more. Can't wait till they come going to let my friends try them. Well i give it 5 stars and recomend this to anyone who likes hot chips or any hot chips. I think there hotter than Hot Fries. So if you think these aren't hot try them yourself. Also its not blairs fault the 99¢ Store has them but they aren't hot i trust blairs. Clearly says who you buy it from at top right near purchase button. So don't get mad at Blairs its not their fault.

Anyone who says these aren't hot enough have probably burned their taste buds off because they're eating hot stuff all the time.These are indeed hot. I couldn't have more than one, but I'm a wuss. These were a gift for my spicy food addicted husband and he loved them. Only 4 stars because the price is kinda high.

The flavor and texture of these chips was wonderful but the reason it gets 4 stars is the price was too high and they were just not that spicy. Not ghost pepper spicy at least. I bought blaires death rain habenero chips and I felt that they were spicier than the jolokia pepper chips.

I had heard that there was a "bad batch" of these chips being sold much cheaper than you can get them from the original website, so when I saw that these were a good bit cheaper I wasn't getting my hopes up too high. Boy, was I surprised! These are fantastic. They are incredibly flavorful, and the spiciest chip I have ever had in my life, hands down. If you are a chilihead or you just enjoy being in pain I strongly recommend these. They also faster than anticipated. The earliest they suggested it would get here was actually not until tomorrow, and the latest was the 12th, but they showed up today!

These are nice. I've read about inconsistency in seasoning but mine were loaded. These are very hot and flavorful. My only complaint is the high cost. Not sure why chip companies don't make these more readily available at reasonable costs.
