Stewart Piazza Planter, Granite Effect, 55 cm

The media could not be loaded.  I need to repot my Swiss Cheese Plant and doing so requires a pretty sizeable pot. After scouring Amazon for something suitable, I came across this product and decided to go for it, opting for the 40cm which is perfect for my plant. I didn’t want to pay £100 upwards for a terra cotta pot so discovering a cheaper, plastic option was ideal.Delivery was prompt, arriving within a day and the product suitably packaged. Being made of plastic it is quite lightweight but once filled with soil it won’t be moving anywhere. The pot is pretty sturdy and hard enough not to bend or dent, unless you were to take a run up and jump on it.I can confirm that there are 4 x holes which have been pre-drilled for drainage purposes. I will be adding some extra holes but for an item straight out the box, it will happily drain excess water if you’ve not got a drill to hand.In terms of colour, it appears to me as anthracite / black with little white speckles dotted all over. It looks aesthetically pleasing and I’m sure even more so once it has the plant in it.There are some details printed onto the base of the pot, which for the 40cm shows a volume of 25LTRS. As for the dimensions (HxWxD) of the pot, please see the attached pics.Overall this is a great pot for homing your plants. Looks very classy and very solid sturdy planters, I absolutely love them that much that I've bought 20 and my garden looks fantastic.Great size planters.I'm hoping to buy more and finish my garden.The sea is at the end of my garden so have to use pots so I'm pleased to have bought these.Very happy with my purchase.

I ordered the Dark Brown Stewart Varese Medium planter which on the whole was very pleased with apart from the colour, as it was more a grey than dark brown. I had originally been looking at grey/charcoal planters but when I saw this planter advertised as being dark brown, I decided that this would be a better colour. I would definitely recommend this planter which is good quality & also looks very good but if it’s dark brown you are looking for then this is not the one!

Wanted a large, solid, dark grey, frost resistant, sturdy planter and this is exactly as hoped. Arrived quickly and well packaged.

There was nothing wrong with the planters, they took a while to be delivered but were in good condition when they did arrive. However, the advert was misleading in that it stated “tall planter 40cm”. I took this to mean it would be 40cm tall when in fact it meant diameter at the top! At 40cm high the planters would have been perfect but at nearly 75cm they are much too tall. When I requested a return label and full refund, I found I would have to pay for the postage of £12+ each as the planter box was too tall for free postage. The seller offered me nothing at first, then only £4.75. I find this unacceptable and a very disappointing way to conduct business.

Used to plant up a camellia. Frost resistant. Looks good.

Looks a lot better than it is from the pictures, it's very lightweight and flimsy feeling so I'm guessing it's not going to last but hey it was cheap.
