Depending on your level of activity and the ambient temperature of the environment you are in, this sensation can last up to a few hours. This was a really nice surprise for me the first time I used it. I rolled it on my temples and up the back of my neck to my hairline. The cooling sensation was really quite pleasant on a hot, humid day.My Wife really enjoys this roll-on. She suffers from migraines. Most of these start out as simple tension headaches brought on by rapid barometer changes. If she acts on the tension headache quick enough she can actually avoid a full-blown migraine. The cooling effect of the menthol in this solution certainly helps with this. The added bonus is how compact the dispenser bottle is. It can fit in a watch pocket (that small pocket inside the front pocket of a pair of jeans) also, it appears to be fairly leakproof.At first the scent can be a little strong. Of course this is also dependent on where you apply it and how much you apply. The scent does dissipate over time but it never completely fades which is great for occasions when you are unable to reapply like during a work presentation. Plus, a little goes a long way. The roller ball in the dispenser moves quite easily for larger applications however, we have found simply dabbing the bottle on to our skin dispenses enough of the aromatherapy oil to be effective. I don't think I received this exact item. The one I received says Peppermint Eucalyptus and Rosemary. It rolls on nice and smooth. The ball is metal so it also feels cool. The scent is nice a light but you can still smell it so you get the aromatherapy effect.
