Not fully compatible
They say provides all functions, but it doesn't. Even thought there is a TV button, VERY stupidly positioned immediately below the Down button, all that happens is a pointless non functioning on-screen pop-up. On the back of the unit is a sticker advising the controller will not work with any TV or DVD machine? Double stupid is below this redundant TV button is the program information button, where your finger does not instinctively wander to. And, there is no last channel recall, so you can't predetermine the channel you want to dip to when the tedious repetitive adverts come on.It’s a good solid unit which should last. If only someone with a brain did the programming it would be a great one.

Excellent replacement remote
We ordered this replacement remote not excepting it to be very good to be honest. It's a remarkably reasonable price and was so amazed when it arrived and we put batteries in and straight away it was up and working perfectly. Really very pleased and it is working far better than the original one. We can't praise it enough and the supplier was excellent. Arrived quickly, well in expected time. Highly recommend.

Good but not perfect.
All works fine. Had to find some alternative buttons to do some functions as it’s not a humax box, doesn’t have a delete button etc. For some reason the pause button does not work. Not sure if it’s just this remote or it’s another function that this remote won’t do. All in all good value remote but not quite perfect.

Not as useful as I had hoped
I had wanted a remote that would work with top-box and television (as my original one does) but this one does not have a TV button. So, although it has all the record etc functions that I need, I still have to have a second remote for simply switching the television off and on!

A good buy.
This controller works as well as the Humax original. Just put batteries in and it works straight away.It appears to be no less robust than any other controller, with the same buttons in a different layout.For the price it is a good buy.

So glad I got this!
Original remote gave up the ghost. Replacement with Humax product double price. This one did the job instantly batteries were inserted. As so many different models available you need to ensure you have the correct replacement model. No messing needed.

Works much better than I expected!
this was a replacement for a worn-out original Humix handset. Works much better than the original.

Easy to operate, all buttons clearly labelled.
Great product, new (as described), some buttons differently positioned to the original remote but some are easier to operate so very happy with it.It’s used for operating a Humax HDR 1800T digital recorder and was delivered by the date specified so well done guys!
