Works well on glasses and jewellery
The media could not be loaded. The cleaner works well on spectacles. It doesn't remove the awful grime around the nose support but it does loosen it so that running water and a tissue then washes and cleans it away fairly easily.I am a bit disappointed that there's no alarm or automatic turn off after, say, a five minute cycle. It's disappointing because the device takes two AAA batteries that will run down with over use and forgetting to turn the cleaner off.I used distilled water and the results were good - no staining on the spectacle lenses and easy to wipe off with a dry and clean cloth.A sterling silver necklace was cleaned beautifully and much better than could have been the case with a polishing cloth alone. It's a great device for occasional use but the lack of a rechargeable in-built battery means that I will probably use it less than I otherwise would.

Not particularly great!
Unfortunately I’m really disappointed in this product. It seems to be very underpowered and not very effective at cleaning. I primarily used this for cleaning my glasses, and despite using glass cleaning fluid it just sort of shakes the dirt off but doesn’t really actually clean. A better way to describe this is a shaker instead of a cleaner. I’m not sure there’s any “ultrasonic” element to this, I don’t think strong vibration counts. It’s quite loud, and annoyingly buzzy and quite cheaply made. You’d get cleaner glasses using a glasses wipe.★★☆☆☆ - Below Average

Basic cheap ultrasonic cleaner
This is a very basic low cost ultrasonic cleaner. It is made from lightweight plastic runs off two AAA batteries that go into the battery compartment on the underside. The lid just sits in place on top of the cleaner and can be lifted off to check the cleaning progress. There is a single flick switch on the front for on/off without an indicator light. But It’s obvious when it is switched on because it is extremely noisy and vibrates quite a lot. The instructions suggest 5 minutes cleaning time for most things but you need to time it yourself and switch it off manually.I’ve noticed that the suction feet on the underside stick to the worktop and when you wriggle it around to dislodge the feet it can cause the water to splash out of the containerI have tried it out with some silver jewellery and I don’t think it did an especially good job compared to another similar cleaner I own.It is a low cost item at £9.99 but for not much more money you can get get a better quality mains powered ultrasonic cleaner with more functions. It does look like a cheap basic item but it works and does do an ok job of cleaning silver jewellery. I am unable to comment on throw well it performs with other items.

A very affordable coin cleaner for metal detecting
Taking a coin out of the ground that might have been there upwards of 500 years, it has had the chance to build up a lot of crud. I have found just a few minutes in the ultrasonic cleaner is enough to remove a lot of soil build up.Price wise, this is one of the cheapest I have seen and it definitely works well.Just be careful though as some coins do not respond well to ultrasonic cleaning.Happy to recommend this - it really is ideal and a lot safer than using a cloth to clean your finds.

Useless product. Doesn't work.
The media could not be loaded. Dubious claims made in the product description: As far as I can see, this device does not utilise ultrasound or ultrasonic energy - there is no transducer in the device, only a motor that spins an eccentric weight to make low frequency vibrations. The cheap, small, battery powered motor does not spin at or produce the advertised 45,000Hz vibrations. In use the device is utterly ineffective - see the photos of my watch bracelet, beforem during and after immersion for 4+ minutes.I have used proper ultrasonic cleaners in the past and I know that immersing that dirty bracelet in an effective cleaner would instantly produce a dirty, dark cloud of grime in the fluid. I left this watch bracelet in the device for four or more minutes and - as you can see - no dirt came off it.I also have never encountered an ultrasonic cleaner that makes a loud buzzing sound like this one does - they are normally whisper quiet or completely silent.I used the device with deionised water (as usual for ultrasonic cleaners), and a mix of deionised water and detergent: I tried the it on all manner of bits and bobs that exhibited visible dirt and grime on their surfaces - they came out after several minutes just as dirty as they went in. All the ultrasonic cleaners I have used in the past have produced almost instant results. The device simply does not work and is not an ultrasonic cleaner.

It’s fine
It’s fine, not a miracle cleaner, but loosens muck up certainly. I found it a bit noisy- but most ultrasonic cleaners rattle when items are touching the sides.I like the shape - cleaning glasses is an interesting idea which I wouldn’t have been able to do with a smaller cleaner.Decent 4 star rating.

It sort of works at removing dirt
I wasn;t impressed by this ultrasonic cleaner. The overall build quality looks cheap and not very robust. It needs two AAA batteries which are not included. I tried using it to clean the muck off a small swiss army knife and although it removed some of the dirt there was a lot left even after running for fifteen minutes. It’s quite loud when running. There are suction cups on the bottom to keep it in place when it’s running but when I tried to remove it, this was difficult to do without spilling the water. It sort of works at removing dirt but I’d recommend spending a bit more to get a more robust mains powered unit

Basic cleaner
Very much an economy product reflecting the low asking price, this is cheaply made and battery powered; the chamber is small and the generator not particularly powerful. Useful for a one-off or occasional user.
