I love these things. This is the third one I have purchased. Great sound and I like that Alexa syncs to it. I would definitely recommend, you won’t regret it.

I really liked this Echo Dot stand, used it for my Echo Dot 4th gen. It was easy to install. It plugs into an outlet and has a cord to attach to the dot for power. It has USB and USB-C ports on the back which makes plugging in phones much more convenient, and because they are in the back, my desk looks neater. Also, lifting the dot off the table makes it easier for me to see the dot’s lights to know if she heard me say her name.

My biggest complaint with my echo dot is that it takes up a plug, so when I want to charge my phone I have to charge it at an awkward spot instead of right in the center of everything where I want to. This completely solves that. Because it has the USB-C and USB-A we can both charge our phones at the same time.I love that it just elevates the dot a little bit, and uses the dot’s plug for power. The tiny cord between the base for the dot is also perfect, I love that the cord is the perfect length, so everything looks really neat.This took me less than a minute to set up, all I did was unplug the dot, plug this in, and plug in the dot. Added my phones chargers, and was off to the races. My phone charged with no issues, I’ve had no issues whatsoever with this.

I got this for my sister. It works great for her Echo. It fits great and is easy to use.

It is amazing when you find something that changes the way you use your workspace like this. I've had an Echo sitting at my desk for years, from the initial black cylinder to the 5th generation Echo dot now. After ordering this, I found that it really elevated my space. It raises the speaker up a little bit, keeps the cord out of the way, and provides USB charging ports I use to charge my phone and headset from time to time. This sure beats fishing around under the desk for the cord attached to the wall plug when a device needs charging!

The 5th generation Echo Dot is a great device. But, like all electronic gizmos, it generates heat when powered on. The bottom of the unit gets pretty warm. So, I’ve been using makeshift stands (small boxes) to keep it off of the main surface to prevent heat related issues (wood warping, etc.). This stand is a perfect fit for my device (and, yes, oops, I ordered the wrong color but that is not important to me). It keeps the Dot elevated on the stand with vents to help dissipate heat (the bottom of the Echo is typically in the low-to-mid 90 degrees (Fahrenheit) when on the stand. Note the the charger that ships with the Echo itself is still needed to provide power. The stand has a short permanently attached cable with a barrel connector to get that power to the Echo itself.The USB-A and USB-C charging ports on the bottom of the stand are a great additional asset.

This is perfect for the echo dot. I love the extra USB ports that are on it as well. That is the main reason I got it. It also helps to reduce the brightness of the status ring as well.
