Cambridge Advanced Trainer
It is a very practical book to practice English at this level.I find it very useful, especially for an independent student like me. It explains step by step how to tackle with each part of an exam,what you should focus on.It gives you great tips.

Very good book.
Very good book.. helps you to prepare for Cambridge advanced exam. It gives you clue, tips and most of all make you understand how to think for the exam. Definitely recommend this one !

Useful resource for strategies and practice.
Useful resource book for teaching and self study, if rather dry and uninteresting! For longer study ot courses I'd choose an exam preparation course like Cambridge Objective or Complete.

Very good quality, as expected
If you don't want to pay extra for audio CD, which you need for preparation, you can download it for free online, if you look for it. Cause the book doesn't come with CD, and they ask extra 30€ or so for it. Book arrived very fast and it was exactly what I wanted.

Absolutely wonderful!
I had utilised this book for my CAE exam,the book entirely appealed to my desires;in addition,i didn't excpect to find so many exercises in the first two tests,and that make the book hit the spot even for those who has to improve quickly in not so much time.I definitely recommend this book,in the end!

Estupendo...pero tampoco te garantiza un aprobado
El libro está genial: - muchos consejos y recomendaciones. - Abundantes ejemplos. - Numerosas actividades para familiarizarte con el examen. - etc. Pero la cuestión está, si lo haces, lo rehaces, casi te lo aprendes de memoria... te garantiza un aprobado? definitivamente no, puedes tener más posibilidades. Pero aunque lo hagas si haces este y 8 más, llevaba mucho material estudiado y machacado, junto con este libro que me lo sabía casi entero, y aún así no he aprobado. No obstante, le pongo 5 estrellas porque el libro está genial , y tampoco tiene culpa de que haya suspendido, pero que estos libros te garantizan un aprobado, la respuesta es NO. Ayudan, orientan, puedes coger técnicas, práctica, y hacerte una idea de lo que puede ser el examen, pero te puedes trabajar 20 libros y 10 libros oficiales de Cambridge, y sabértelos de memoria y suspender igualmente, los idiomas no están sujetos a un temario específico, te puede caer cualquier cosa, si tuviera que destacar un defecto sería más consejos para trabajar por tu cuenta las competencias, es decir si tienes problemas con el reading, recomendaciones a parte de los consejos para el examen. Sí que es cierto que noto un pelín más de dificultad en los exámenes reales que en los libros de preparación, ¡estrategia de marketing para recaudar dinero? puede ser. De todas formas lo recomiendo y se puede decir que es muy buen libro.
