If I could give 10 stars I would!I'm in Hawaii and moved into this house that had a outdoor faucet that was just a tad too big for a regular garden hose so I figured I'd go to a hardware store and find an adapter that works with this spigot, simple right? Wrong! Every hardware store I went to didn't have a compatible adapter, so I called a plumber who actually told me I'd need to pay $400+ to get the faucet replaced because it's such an "old size" and I wouldn't be able to find anything that fits it. Naturally I thought that was utter bs, so I turned to Amazon and figured I'd just buy every size adapter possible, assuming one of them would work.After I made my order, the seller reached out to me, saw I was ordering to Hawaii, and with their expertise, consulted me on which adapter would most likely be the correct size for me. I sent a picture of the faucet to the seller to confirm and their intuitions were correct, they then proceeded to refund me for all of the incorrect size adapters I ordered and only send the correct one, which is the 01.125 size.Between the excellent customer service and quality craftsmanship of the adapter (that fit perfectly by the way, no leaks or issues once screwed in) this seller and their business deserves all the accolades! In my extreme hard water area, the anti-siphon vacuum-breaking spigots last about a year, then clog up with deposits and leak constantly. These are are excellent solution! Check the make and model of your spigot, to make sure you get the correct part. These are high-quality, heavy brass, with nicely cut threads and a thick washer. I used yellow Teflon tape (for gas lines) and the connection was absolutely leak free. Very easy to install, once the anti-siphon part was removed (that was also easier than I expected). No more intermittent spurting of water, and no more constantly leaking anti-siphon valve. My house is old enough that the anti-siphon type is not required, if they're required where you live, save the parts you take off, just in case. I'm looking forward to seeing the next water bill to figure out how much water the anti-siphon valves were wasting. I would definitely buy these again. Great quality, and made in the USA. Well worth the price.

EXCETIONAL customer service! I truly can’t overstate this. My outdoor spigot didn’t have a release valve and none of the release valves at local hardware stores fit. I’d been looking around for over a month and was getting nervous because I just planted my garden and had no way of attaching a hose. I decided to take a random chance and order what I thought would be the correct size based off the measurements I took from Spigotmaster.A day or so later, Rob at Spigotmaster contacted me and asked me to take a picture of the spigot since the size I ordered was unusual. He found me the correct size and refunded me the difference because the first spigot was significantly more expensive than the size I needed.The quality of their products are excellent and but their customer service is truly the best. The product is great! My review is of the customer service team. I placed an order for an obscure spigot - it’s a historical home built in 1920 so who knows how old the spigot is actually. They personally called me to ensure I was ordering the correct one. I explained I was using the numbers on the spigot a previous plumber had installed but it always leaked. He had me send a photo of the spigot. And then switched the order to the correct one. It arrived quickly and it fits perfectly. I’ve struggled with finding the right spigot for 6 years. Great service! They know what they’re doing.

The product it self is a 5-star rating, however the price is a bit unreasonable, thus the 4-star. I had searched high and low for this adapter. We have Arrowhead/Champion frost free hydrants (bibs) on our home that came equipped with "permanent" almost non-serviceable anti-backflow devices attached via a uncommon thread. The anti-backflow devices actually negated the drain feature of the valve causing them to hold water in the dry barrel portion. The devices leaked and would create a huge mess. Thanks to these adapters the headaches are gone, the water drains and the bib does not leak. Installation was a little involved. Arrowhead used red thread locker to secure the anti-back flow device and the simplest means is to heat it with a torch. I would recommend heat a little then test with channel locks or a pipe wrench. Too much heat could ruin the packing on the valve stem or un-sweating the bib is very possible (the bibs are sweated together at the factory). After removing the offending device, cleaning off the old thread locker with a metal brush is a good idea. When installing the adapter I used the old rubber washer (seemed better quality) and applied blue thread locker to keep the item in place when removing hoses. The make more clearance, I removed the faucet handle as well for better access. Great product that solves a bureaucratic dilemma.

These Spigotmaster SM01 units work great, no more water sprays & wet feet when you turn on your garden hose spigots. Check to make sure there are fine threads on the spigot itself before ordering, otherwise you will have issues trying to put these particular units onto a NPT-threaded valve connection.
