Story on effects are the very best you can buy.If you can afford this pedal then buy it.Massive improvement over original version but I’ve got both and use both. If you’re reading this you already know about this effect pedal. Just buy it

Strymon製品の使用は、Timelineがひとつめで、BigSky MXが2つめです。 特殊効果としてのリバーブとしてはあまり使っておらず、キャビネットシミュレーションのIRを補完する用途として使っています｡ 無印ではできなかったがMXでは可能なIRリバーブ、2つの独立したリバーブ効果の同時（並列・直列）使用といった機能を主に使っています｡ IRは本体付属のものの他に、キャビネットIRや無料配布のIR、PCのVSTプラグインのIRリバーブに付いてくるIRなどを読み込んで使っています｡ 自分のチェーンでは空間系はあくまで補助的な位置づけなので、未使用時はトゥルーバイパスでチェーンへの音の影響を無くせる点が採用の決め手でもあります。 一点気になることとして、最終的にはアプリで本体の設定を制御できるようになるらしいのですが、2025年11月現在において、まだPC上のアプリからできることはIRファイルの書き込みくらいです。細かい設定は本体の液晶画面を見ながらノブを回して設定する必要があります｡

They should have called it DEEP SPACE! (needs 9V adapter).
This thing is SICK! Spent my first day playing my synths into a CLOUD preset that generates Ensemble harmonics. It is called "Wild Hearts". It sounds like a movie track with 4 layers. (1. My synth 2. LUSH reverb 3. Massive yet subtle organic string section that details hidden harmonics/overtones. 4. Faint angelic/siren(mermaid) sound in distance with airy, misty, ethereal quality. Reverb tails are richer, longer, and more focused/hi-res than original big sky. Tails resolve into deep space, due to new hi-def feedback algorithms and processing power. It was the reverb I have been waiting for all these years. They nailed it with the second version. I got the 9V adapter for boss pedals shown in photo. Sold by BENSN. It is 1000mA. I need a "Strymon BigSky for Dummies" book!
It's amazing, I really have no words except I think they shouldn't let you buy it until you've received a pilot's license rated for jets, and survival training or something like that. I'm sure my review is my fault completely, and I cannot assign any blame on the company. I just tried to run before I walked. Maybe a "Strymon BigSky for Dummies" book might help me lol. I do love it though.

Powerful Digital Reverb
Amazing tool for a broad pallet of reverberation! It is digital, so compression and equalization are needed for fully polished sounds, but most folks buying the pedal will have that already. It will eat up life-hours with joyful tweaking, so be prepared for possible relationship issues resulting from the purchase!
