This is a coffee maker, it is identical to the machine I use to make espresso. Not sure why they are trying to market it as something else just call it what it is.

How does this product compare to its competitors, such as mota pot and magical butter?

Mota pot is pretty much the same, magic butter machine can heat up on its own

how much herb do you put into it per stick?

My Easy Butter is a two stick machine. I fill the herb basket full, not packed, but full (about half a z). I then run the butter/water mixture through 2 or 3 times to extract all of the active chemicals.
