I've been wanting a yoga mat for a while now, but not a fan of the "THICK" ones that roll up! I live in a small apartment so space is limited! This product is perfect because of the size, and folding capabilities.Beautiful design, comfortable, good material, folds up easily and unfolds easily, stores away perfectly anywhere! I did not take on trip I returned was to heavy to carry as a carry on for travel. But if I would have needed I would have kept it. I returned

I thought it would be helpful to note that, indeed the mat arrives slippery. One nice salt bath and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I may give it one more lite salt bath though it’s probably not necessary. As for the plastic odor, I opened it up and let it air out flat. The color is true and vibrant. A good travel mat for the money. Namaste.

So far I really like this travel mat, though I've only tried it out at home. I wanted a little bit of thickness for practicing on hard surfaces. I tested this mat on my porch, and I was happy with the cushioning. Like others have mentioned, I do like that it folds such to keeps the floor side away from the practice side, keeping the practice side cleaner. I wiped it down with dish soap in warm water and let it sit out for a couple of days before using, and it does not smell at all after that initial wash.

I bought this to use as a travel yoga mat. I liked the idea that you could fold it up in a manner that didn't allow the top surface to touch the bottom, keeping your practice area away from anything that has touched the floor. The mat is fairly thick, but it is very plastic-ish. I found it slippery and needed to use a yoga towel with it. It does fold up neatly, but I found I didn't like the seams when it was laid out. After traveling with it a couple of times, I realized that I could use a regular yoga mat. Rather than rolling it up where the floor side could touch my practice side, I simply fold it over on itself leave it like that, in an out of the way corner until the next day. I have a mat spray that I use after every practice and when I get home I give it a thorough washing, let it dry completely, roll it up and put it back it the bag, ready for the next trip. The mat rolled and placed it a bag is not any heavier and not that much larger than the folding mat. The only downside might be that you couldn't put that in a suitcase as you could with the folding one, but the folding one would take up a lot of room in the suitcase. I ended up keeping this mat in case anyone comes to visit and wants to practice with me, but didn't bring or doesn't have a mat. It is nice to have it for that reason, but I would not purchase this again.

The mat’s design and quality are just as pictured, and I have received many compliments on it. The bag, on the other hand, had issues with the seam starting to rip fairly quickly. The stitching is not suitable for daily use. However, after I paid for re-stitching it, it has held up well since the fabric is thick enough.

Ok, I never leave reviews, but because it took me so long to find the perfect product, I thought I would share for anyone out there who was looking for the same thing as me. I wanted something with a bit of cushion, something foldable (for the option of extra padding or a smaller area), portable, and outdoor friendly. I needed this for meditation as well as yoga, and I was primarily thinking about using it in a quiet spot maybe in a field or the woods or a beach...well, this is perfect. It folds perfectly into the backpack that comes with it. It's so comfy. Easy to clean. Perfectly priced. I bought 3, and I couldn't be happier. Note: There is a smell to it, though. Just a little warning. Not enough to bother me. :)

I brought this along with me during travel. It is not super lightweight but it is easy to fold and bring along. Although it has this weird chemical scent, it goes away after a few use. Not slippery, has a cute colour, and comes in a string bag.

Easy to carry for traveling, the new mat has smell. Since it’s a portable mat, it’s less thick comparing to the normal ones, the knees would not be comfortable while doing knees on the mat poses. Overall, a good traveling mat.

Very happy with my purchase . Comfortable, non slippery and the smell goes away . I got it in the evening and lay it flat and the next morning , there wasn’t any smell.

I really wanted to love this mat. The size was great. The cushioning was good. I love the bag. But within a couple of weeks, it started to fall apart. At the end of practice I would be surrounded by yoga mat flakes.
