Premium Aluminium mini Volume Control knob - Precise 3.5mm Audio Control for Headphones, Speakers & More

I used two of these volume control knobs for microphones that were quite a distance away from the main console in a high-end, professional DJ/karaoke system and they worked great!! I was very impressed with the quality and the look and the amount of maximum volume control I had with these knobs, and it was so handy to have separate volume control far away from the main console unit. There's even micro-click adjustment on the circular knob, it's very professional. Overall these controllers were far superior to other products I tried from other manufacturers. Highly recommended!!

Excellent solution to my problem. I needed a way to control my BT headphones working with a fixed output audio signal from my receiver. Some streaming signals were too load with no way to adjust the audio level. Pluged this in between BT receiver and headphone and problem solved. Micro click adjustments have a great feel and allow a lot of volume level control. High quality look and feel. Worth the extra bucks.

I bought this around the end of April 2023. I was delighted with it, it worked perfectly for what I wanted. The heft was comforting and gave me the impression that it was of superior build quality and would last for years. It was the best one I had bought. No distortion, smooth transition of volume... it deserved 5 stars easily. Last night the left channel crapped out. I was able to fiddle with it and make the channel reappear as long as an ant didn't stomp a foot next to it. ANY movement caused the channel to disappear again. Tonight, no amount of fiddling will bring the channel back. Unfortunately, one star because of that. Evidently others have had the left channel fail too. Sounds like a production problem.If I can figure out how to open it I'll try to repair it. Even if I can get it working it remains one star. It should last longer than two months without needing repair.

No noise when turning knob. Seems to use a 10k potentiometer with audio taper. A bit expensive for what it is. But I didn't feel like designing a 3d printable case for a potentiometer and jacks.I'm using this to control volume from computer to powered studio monitors. Each studio monitor has it's own volume control on the back, so it's a pain to adjust volume without something like this. I was using Windows volume control, but it was annoying because of the "ding" it makes and I would have to minimize any full screen apps. They also say software volume control reduces audio quality (though I can't say I've noticed a difference).

This is a nice little gadget and I use it for watching television while my son is playing games and my wife is playing the stereo. There are only two things I didn't like about it: 1) It did not come with a male-to-male cable to connect it to anything, so after I received the device, I had to order a cable before I could use it. 2) If you are looking for something that will give you some super-high volume via the television, it will not going to do that. Even though the volume will go relatively high, which is good enough for me watching the television, it will not go high enough to please a person who likes their volume so loud that they can hear the walls in the house rattle.

It is difficult to tell from the photos or description, but these are wired as a stereo attenuator. The measured input resistance is 10k ohms.The base has a solid feel and looks to be of high quality.

Use it with my computer to fade music in and out at basketball games. Gets rid of the abrupt stop and the game get ready to resume play

Plug one end of a 1/8" audio cable (not included!!) into this thing and the other into your audio source. Plug your headphones or whatever into the other side of this thing. Presto, you now have volume control!I use this to listen to Sonos on headphones. I plug this into a Sonos Connect via an RCA adapter, then plug my headphones into this knob, and now I can control the volume immediately without having to fumble around with the Sonos controller app. Works great. I am not using particularly hi-fi headphones with this setup (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00005QBU9/ - best headphones 25 bucks can buy, IMO), so I can't speak to sound quality for experts. But for adding volume control to an everyday listening setup, this thing is exactly what I needed.
