Just My Luck: A King Family Special Edition

I stayed up til 2am this book was that good! I had to know what was going to happen next. Abel and Sloane are my new favorite couple! I loved the brewery/small town setting. There was so much "my wife" that I squealed every time he said it! What started off as a business arrangement turned into something so much deeper. There was heart wrenching topics throughout this book and it was a beautiful story!

OMG!!! Abel King has been permanently added to my top swoony book husband list!!! Lena Hendrix has done it again with another fantastic book and I can say without a doubt that everyone is going to be swooning over Abel and absolutely fall in love with Sloane and her two adorable twins.Sloane was such a fun MFC, I loved how she was not intimidated by Abel and his grumpy attitude and how she enjoyed messing with him and kept him on his toes. They had some great laugh out loud moments in this book! She also was a fantastic mother to Ben and Tillie, those kids were absolutely adorable and I loved how all three of them helped Abel to open up and let down the walls around his heart.Abel is my favorite of Lena's MMCs! When I think about my ideal grumpy man with a heart of gold that is protective and beyond swoony, Abel " My Wife" King is exactly what I picture! I am beyond obsessed with his and Sloanes romance. Add in that he is instantly all in with her kids as well and is even more protective of them, this man is going to be on everyone's top book husband list!!This was another fantastic book with amazing characters and a beautiful love story. I can't wait to see what is coming to us next with the King family.

I have no words! This was a beautifully written story and I wish it was longer because I absolutely loved Abel and Sloane. Ben and Tillie are just so sweet! I’m crying happy tears from this book!“My wife…” 🥰

It’s suppose to be simple, no feelings involved, but few things ever go as planned. ⁣⁣Abel is misunderstood and judged for his criminal past, but with Sloane and her kids you get to know him and see that he is the biggest teddy bear. He has the sweetest most kind heart! Abel has intrigued me since he was first introduced and his story did not disappoint. He has been torturing himself for so long. I love seeing him grow and learn to accept love and all the good things he deserves. ⁣⁣Sloane is strong and would do anything for her kids. She is struggling in silence much like Abel. Seeing her being treated by Abel with all the kindness and care she deserves fills me with joy. I love a protective hero that will do anything to ease the stress of his heroine. ⁣⁣Even more family secrets are revealed in this one and I am dying to know more!!! Like really I need to know now!! lol ⁣⁣𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗻𝗼𝘄!!!!!

The people in town are a little scared of him because of his past. They don’t know the full story or see how great he is. One person who’s not afraid of him really is Sloane. She’s someone he’s paid attention to ever since his sister wanted her to have a job at the brewery. Thing is now with her proposal maybe they both will get what they want. Maybe also get something a little more that neither of them expected.I absolutely love Abel!! He is amazing with Sloane and her kids. He’s so caring and attentive. Learning about what happened for him to go to prison I cried. There’s so much more to him than what’s on the outside. So much more to someone than their past. The way he starts opening up.
