light weight and has pretty good range
We have a 6 lb. cat. She wears this with no problem. I was worried it would be too heavy, but it is not. It makes finding her so much easier. She is an outdoor cat so many times in the past I could not find her to get her in at night but now I find her easily using the homing tag.

Works great!
I use these almost daily to take my 3 cats for a walk outside. I let them roam a bit and can't keep track of all 3 at once. So with the transmitter, I can know which direction they are. Works great. This is my 2nd round with TabCat. I've used this brand for 9 years. Eventually, the 1st ones got wet, or just stopped working, so I bought replacements, but I think 8 years of daily use is very acceptable. I'm very pleased with the product.

Best there is out here
We love these. Small, light. Cats dont seemed to be to bothered. You change the battery once every 4 months or so. So also no continues phone signal around your cats neck. Which I doubt is good for any living being.Only downside, our wildy one has lost a few here and there. And we lost the remote. You can only buy them as a complete set. They do offer extra tags for your remote.

Don’t Buy On Amazon
Normally I love Tabcat as a product. My cats often do lose their collars out in the world. While I can find them 50% of the time, sometimes they are lost in the woods or potentially neighbors’ yards and don’t return to me, so I buy replacements. I bought these on Amazon in March and no matter what I do, I cannot get these tags to register to the handset. I am going to try buying some direct from Tabcat as I’ve always had those work.

Easy to tell if my cat is nearby
The locator is one of the best things I’ve ever bought for me and my cat. When she has the locator on and I turn on the tracker, I can easily tell if she is nearby ( locator shows green lights) or if she is away from the house (only red lights). If she is near I don’t worry and she can enjoy being outside. If she is far I’ll go looking for her and bring her back to the house.

Must have for my mischievous kitties
Pairs easily with existing remote. Works great!

No remote, only fobs here.
Just in case someone needs to see this, this is the fob pack only. The remote-having pack is a different item on Amazon. These tabcat fobs are awesome though. Pair this with an AirTag on your cat’s collar and you’ll be finding them so much quicker.

Best cat tracker for rural areas, but remotes have issues that leave you without anything.
Initially, this was fantastic for our indoor/outdoor cat. They are intermittent with our hilly terrain and heavy brush, but the best we have found. The problem lies with the remote. Our first remote had to be replaced. The second remote had to be sent in to the company in Texas and it took so long to get there and back, that it just really isn’t worth it. Now the remote is having issues again. I just don’t feel it’s worth it to send it down there again. Overall, probably the best cat tracker for rural areas, but man I wish the remote was more reliable.
