Does it meassure up?
I looked for one of these at Lowe's and Home Depot with no luck. I found it on Amazon and ordered it. Having the engineers scale was a must-have option for me. The lock is not that good and the auto retrieve is week but it does the job.

Doesn’t retract well

Worst packaging in the world
I have and do owned a lot of DeWalt products. Removing the plastic packagingto get access to the tape measurer is impossible. If I could remove it, I couldgive a better evaluation. Don't buy, unless you desire packaging challenges.
