Ibanez GAX30-TCR GIO AX Series Electric Guitar - Transparent Cherry, red

I bought this as a present for my boyfriend, who is learning to play guitar. He is delighted with how it sounds and with the style.

Had this for a while now and have to say it's excellent for a beginner like me.

Very nice lovely sound light and well balanced

Quick delivery. I've ordered this as a christmas present, I wasnt there to receive the box but the box came looking like someones tried opening it to see what was inside and it's been resealed. Anyway opened the box to check before I gift wrapped it, the guitar appears fine. From my POV the colour looks slightly different to what's shown, more red maybe and appears a little blotchy. Also, it is just a guitar, an Allen key and an instruction booklet, bear in mind for a beginner ordering online you'll need extra bits as well as just the guitar. I bought this because of the reviews and understand I'm buying things like the amp separately. I'll update further after xmas.

I thought it would feel like a double cut LP but feels more like an SG to me. The neck dives but there's not many guitars I've played that don't. Came out of the box, needed a tune but once I'd done that it was good to go. Action is pretty low but no fret buzz. I'm very happy with it.
