Dickies Men's Full Zip Softshell Jacket Shell Jacket (pack of 1)

This jacket is great. I look smart and sophisticated wearing it. The company who made it, Dickies, have been making workwear since 1922 so have a good pedigree. The jacket looks to be well made with the stitching looking to be high quality ("triple needle stitching") and so far, it has proved durable (as you’d expect if the company makes “workwear”). The jacket has good features with everything you’d expect from a jacket apart from maybe a hood (which is fine as most of the time it doesn’t rain, and even when it does, at least heavily with not much wind, I prefer an umbrella to a hood) and maybe some proper inner pockets, and maybe breathability patches under the armpits. The main zip works well with there being an anti-chafe cover at the top protecting your chin when the zip is fully up (neck is high so this comes right under chin). There are also good, strong zips on both the hand pockets which are great for security – I can walk around and not worry about things falling out or getting pickpocketed – and which are great for protection of the pocket contents from the elements such as rain which could get into a non-zipped pocket. Both these hand pockets also have lots of room in them. There are no inner zipped pockets but just four large non-zipped “cavities” that could be used as inner pockets (not sure these are intentional given they are not mentioned on the product listing – indeed they are not necessarily the most comfortable places to carry things which would be explained by this, but they are there nonetheless if required). There is one further pocket (they call it a patch pocket) on one arm which could be used for a few pens or something as it is small. Also, the coat has a coat hook. It hasn’t rained yet on me whilst wearing this, so I haven’t been able to check the waterproof nature of the jacket, but it looks and feels like it’ll be waterproof no problem and the hand pockets have zips on them keeping the contents in those away from rain anyway. Overall LOVE.♥

The item arrived in time and the quality of the item is impeccable. Unfortunately I had to return the item as it was too big for me, the sleeves seems very long. I am 168 cm short and I purchased the S size. The return process as usual was very quick and effortless

This Dickie’s soft shell jacket is a great semi-casual jacket perfect for the transitional season weather. It looks great with jeans or with formal attire for commutes to the office. The material is light, waterproof and well structured, and has a slim-fit. The zips are strong and durable, and the front closure has an internal flap against the length of the zip which protects the wearer from the wind and rain. The zipped external pockets are semi-lined and there are internal pockets also on both sides of the jacket, and they are split into two compartments which is a great feature and on-brand with Dickie’s utility style of clothing. There is a small pocket on the upper left arm, which is a nice touch that enhances the look of the jacket. The logo on the jacket is different to the one in the pictures, and looks like the logo on the tag. The branding is very subtle which is nice and makes the jacket more versatile. A great functional jacket with clever features, and looks very stylish.

The jacket arrived well-packaged. It is well-made, and true to Dickies quality. The fabric is not too heavy and is fully washable. However, it can be worn as a casual jacket as well as workwear. It is true to size. The sleeves are fully lined, but not the full jacket. The pockets are secure with zips. There is also an inner pocket which is useful for carrying your mobile phone or wallet. Other pockets are dotted around the jacket and useful if used for work wear. There is a Dickies logo on the front of the jacket that is not too in your face as some brands. I have not worn the jacket in the rain yet, so I can't comment on whether or not it is waterproof. It is nice but for the current price of £57.42, I think it is expensive for what it is. 🧥

My husband is wearing this jacket. He thinks it's great. A good blend of comfortable and practical. The material is nice to wear, and the lining feels good against skin. The stitching is all very good and the zip is YKK. It's a good top layer jacket. He's 5'11 and 37 chest. He's wearing a medium which is a relaxed fit but allows another later underneath. Overall, a good quality jacket.

The Dickies work style gear remains a reasonably priced and decent looking range of clothing with this being no exception although the breathability and odour resistance of it's chosen synthetic material remains questionable. Nicely wind and water resistant with a range of inner and outer pockets this jacket should serve you well in a range of outside pursuits with the sizing chart being reasonably accurate although leaning towards the larger side so if you're wondering whether M or L is best, err on the side of M. The zip puller (YKK) being on the right side came as a bit of a surprise but that could be due to it's American origins or they thought I was a lady or no reason. All in all, a good and useful jacket I suspect I'll get plenty of use out of.

Giacca antivento ben realizzata; in offerta l’ho pagata poco più di 20€. Consiglio di acquistare una taglia in meno rispetto al solito.

Eigentlich hat mir die Jacke super gefallen , Verarbeitung und Material top.Nun kommt das aber. Die Größenangabe haut ja mal überhaupt nicht hin. Trage sonst 3 bis 4xl, hab mir die Jacke in 3 xl bestellt aber die arme vieeel zu lang und der bund vieeel zu weit. Sah schrecklich an mir aus...
