Decent monitor system
We're slowly working our way towards in-ear monitoring for shows and rehearsal. Mainly to bring our volume down in rehearsal, and to fine tune our mix as well. This is a pretty good starter unit. It doesn't come with the ear pieces (which some of the photos show), but will work with any headphones or earbuds you may already have. So far we've tried these on our drummer, with mixed success, but I think they'll work fine once we get it all figured out.

So good and reasonably priced, I bought a second one
I like this product, so much that I purchased a second one. The sound is very good, noise-free, stereo (I use Sony MDR-V6 headphones). The wireless connection is very convenient. This will be especially helpful when I am setting up, tweaking and debugging my home recording studio. Not having wires dragging behind me when I am checking microphones and connections will be great!A 3-hour transmitter battery life may be limiting somewhat; but curiously, my transmitter has a much shorter battery life than my receiver. That curious to me because the receiver is powering the headphones, and I assumed that would consume more power than broadcasting and receiving a 2.4 G signal. But I seem to have assumed wrong. Also, I am able to run the system while the transmitter is plugged-in charging its battery. The transmitter has to be plugged into the sound source anyway, so also plugging into the power source does not really present a constraint. Plug in your transmitter to power, and you will be going for many hours.I was able to run the receiver more than 6 hours without exhausting the battery. I don't know exactly how long the receiver can run, because I thought I had exhausted the battery at 6 hours, and I plugged it in to recharge, only to realize that it stopped because the transmitter had exhausted it's charge again. I know the receiver ran for more than 6 hours without recharging, however.Since the transmitter works while plugged into a power source, and the receiver seems to have a longer charge life, and it says you can connect multiple receivers to one transmitter (even simultaneously), I decided to purchase a second set, so I can use this for extended recording sessions. Charge one receiver while using the other.Another constraint is the ability to connect through walls. My system seems to be OK broadcasting through one wall (drywall and stucco), but not through two walls, and not through stucco over 30-feet away. I'm getting a good broadcast distance of more than 30 feet without a wall between, which is very good. I use 2.4 G wireless connections for my guitars and basses, and none of them stay connected as far away as this system does. Having a stucco wall between limits the distance to about 25 feet.Another nice feature of this system is that when you get back into range, in general the system attempts, and mostly succeeds, in reconnecting itself. If it doesn't automatically reconnect within range, you just hit the power button with a short tap, and you will hear the cute Chinese-accented girl's voice say "Mono" or "Stereo", and then it reconnects.I would recommend to the manufacturer that they have a native-language English writer do a copyedit pass over their user manual - just sayin'! I'm grateful there is a user manual at all, but the system is very easy and intuitive, and arrives set up, paired and charged.

Works nice, limited volume
I got this to use in my home studio, where I'm often tripping over my headphone cord or getting it tangled with the guitar's cord.Setup was easy, and performance good. My main concern was latency, as I previously tried going with bluetooth and finding it unworkable. Latency with this item was undetectable to my ears, as expected with the stated 6ms. Second concern was sound quality, which was surprisingly good. There was no noticeable hiss or hum, and while I may have perceived a slight loss of fidelity, it's perfectly acceptable for monitoring while playing. I would most certainly go to a wired connection for mixing anyway. I wasn't that concerned with range, being in a bedroom-sized studio, but just to test it out I found I could go anywhere in my house without any dropouts. The only limitation I found was with volume. Connected to my audio amplifier's headphone output, I had to keep the amp set at 20% or less or I would get a lot of distortion. I would have tried with the line-out from the amp, but didn't have the right combination of connections. With the receiver at or near max volume and connected to my AKG K240 headphones, the sound remained fairly clean but not as loud as I would like it at times. I did try it with a set of wired earbuds and was able to achieve a deafening volume, so it appears it's best used as intended with actual in-ear monitors and not over ear headphones with relatively large drivers.

hooked it to my PCs mixer board, and use it to record my drum kits Acoustic/Electric
Things like this, aren't just headphones, if you ever tried recording an instrument into your computer or laptop. if you are specially playing on the back track of something, you will notice, that your drums or instrument may be a tad late when you play it back, but when you are listening to it, and recording. You will hear the lag/off timing it turned out, A. A mixer, user audio interface, and stuff like these monitor devices, really help with that. if you know, you know, if you don't really understand but are looking to get into recording instruments or sounds to edit, you will eventually need something like this. depending on how serious you are at making quality recordings and editing.

Very simple to use no noticeable latenc, good quality sound
My main uses for these are at open venues either when preforming or monitoring a broadcast stream so getting through walls is not an issue. In open areas (inside or out), the range seems good and the reception has been solid. I did not measure the latency but it is not noticeable to me and could be used for speaking or singing without being distracting. The audio quality is good but not quite as good as wired. Having said that, it does seem good and certainly adequate for my uses.I do like the very easy setup and it is nice that they include an adapter and variety of cables. My application just puts the monitor output from a mixer/soundboard in via the 3.5 mm (or 1.4") jack. The small size limits the battery capacity a little, I don't think I would count on the advertised time during an actual performance but my durations are usually 1 to 2 hours so it seems fine. (I'd suggest powering the transmitter with a type-C source if it will be used for an extended period and turning off the receiver when not actually needed. In return for the small size, the unit doesn't weigh you down and is very easy to hide. The receiver seems loud enough for quiet to medium venues. If would be important to use isolating earpieces if in a very loud setting so the monitor output isn't overwhelmed (good ear protection practice anyway)All-in-all, this seems a good buy for the lower cost range and delivers a simple, practical, and affordable solution.
